Madison LeCroy Slams Mom Shamers Saying Her Pool Isn’t Safe for Kids

Madison LeCroy is setting the record straight.

In response to criticisms about insufficient safety precautions surrounding her swimming pool, where her 12-year-old son Hudson and newborn daughter Teddi reside, the Southern Charm star defended her actions on July 3.

In a post on her Instagram Story dated July 18, Madison expressed understanding for the concern, but wanted to clarify that by the time Teddi begins crawling, all necessary safety precautions would have been set up.

The 34-year-old responded directly to criticism she encountered from a particular commentator, who had expressed concern over a photograph she shared earlier of her in-ground pool, suggesting, “It would be wise to install a safety fence or pool cover.

“It’s summer,” Madison said. “So no, we’re not putting a cover on the pool right now.”

Despite not embracing the idea of covering the pool, the reality TV personality reassured her audience that she was indeed taking alternative measures to ensure safety in the backyard for Hudson, whom she coparents with Josh Hughes, and Teddi, her child with Brett Randle.

Similar to how I began swim lessons for Hudson when he was between six months and a year old, that’s what we’ll do for your child too,” Madison assured. “My word on it.

She mentioned that she and Brett, aged 38, are fully conscious of the potential dangers and will do their best to ensure safety. However, she expressed her wish not to constantly justify posting photos around the pool each time.

It’s not surprising that Madison managed to ignore her online critics. Given that she openly expresses confidence in her role as a mother, it makes sense that she wouldn’t let negativity affect her.

During her Feb. 11 interview on the Southern Charm After Show, Madison expressed, “What I admire most about myself is being a mother.

In fact, she credits her motherhood journey with giving her purpose in life.

Madison expressed her feelings by saying, ‘Many mothers might say this, but I truly feel that if it wasn’t for Hudson, I wouldn’t exist.’ She went on to explain that without him, she wouldn’t be the person she is today, and she is incredibly grateful.
