The Super Mario Bros. Movie was a huge hit, finally giving fans a great big-screen adaptation of the beloved video game characters. Let’s just say everyone prefers to forget the 1993 movie ever existed!
Although many popular characters from the Mario universe appeared in the game, some well-known faces were surprisingly left out.
With the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie on the way, it looks like a character has been unintentionally revealed as being in the next film.
Everyman Cinemas recently updated their description of the new Mario movie. It explains that after rescuing Brooklyn from Bowser, Mario now has to team up with friends and Yoshi to stop a new threat: an evil partnership between Wario and Bowser Jr., who are plotting to take over the world.
Okay, I’m trying not to dwell on the fact that Mario apparently ditched Yoshi as a friend – seriously, what’s up with that?! But honestly, the real news is that Wario is finally in! That greedy casino owner and gold digger has somehow managed to become one of the chosen ones, and I’m kind of excited to see what chaos he brings.

We still don’t know who voices Wario, but Jack Black, who plays Bowser, has suggested Pedro Pascal for the part, so hopefully that happens!
Players who unlock this special reward will join an amazing group of new characters, featuring stars like Brie Larson as Rosalina and Bennie Safdie as Bowser Jr.
All three of them are hoping to start strong and repeat the success of the first movie, which earned over $1.3 billion around the world.
Honestly, I’m expecting Nintendo to knock it out of the park again. They’re really building up this whole movie thing, and with the Legend of Zelda movie coming next year, they need another huge success to prove it’s not just a fluke.
