While chatting with his brother, Jason Kelce, and singer Chris Stapleton, the Kansas City Chiefs player – who is dating Taylor Swift – listened as the two dads shared heartwarming stories about when their kids were babies.

Jason, who has four daughters with Kylie Kelce, remembered Chris saying he really misses the way newborn babies smell.

Chris jokingly said he was going to sound strange describing something, while appearing on the February 25th episode of New Heights. Jason quickly reassured him, explaining that it wasn’t creepy at all, as anyone who has held a baby would understand what he meant.

Let me tell you, when it comes to knowing what a house really smells like – the lived-in, joyful kind of smell – my friend Chris is your guy. He and his wife, Morgane Stapleton, have been together for almost 20 years and are raising five kids! That’s a lot of life happening under one roof, and trust me, they’ve experienced every scent a family home can offer.

Becoming a parent and holding your baby for the first time is an incredible experience. The scent of your own child is something truly special, as the 47-year-old described.

Travis, who had been smiling throughout the conversation, chimed in, saying, “I don’t think it’s creepy at all—I think it’s really beautiful.”

Chris joked, as the Kelce brothers laughed loudly, “I also enjoy smelling babies—though I admit that might sound a little strange.”

The former Philadelphia Eagles player confirmed she did say that on the New Heights podcast. He also mentioned Donna Kelce is hoping Travis will eventually have more children to expand the family, jokingly saying, ‘She’s put the pressure on him.’

If Taylor and Travis have a baby, Travis is expected to be a wonderful father. Kylie has shared that he’s already experienced with kids, having spent time with his nieces.

I remember telling Travis on my podcast that the key is really being with your kids. You just get down on their level and let them lead the play – whatever they want to do, you do it with them. It’s amazing, because they honestly don’t care about anything else, they just want you to be fully present with them. I know Travis gets it, because he’s great at that too!
