Starfield PS5 Release Date Leaked in New Report

A recent leak suggests we now know when Starfield, Bethesda’s popular RPG, will be released on the PS5, before any official announcement. For over a year, reliable sources have indicated that Starfield would eventually be available on PlayStation consoles, and this new information seems to confirm that launch is near.

According to a report from Dealabs, Starfield is expected to be released on PS5 next month, on April 7th. Both physical and digital copies will be available, and pre-orders are rumored to start later this month. There will reportedly be two versions of the game: a standard edition for $49.99 and a premium edition for $69.99. Given the source’s reliability, an official announcement from Bethesda is likely coming soon to confirm these details.

A Major Starfield Update Could Also Be Releasing

In addition to its upcoming release on PS5, Starfield is expected to receive a significant update aimed at improving the game based on player feedback since its 2023 launch. If the update delivers on its promises, it could encourage both existing players on Xbox and PC, and new players on PS5, to revisit the game.

If pre-orders for Starfield on PlayStation 5 start in about two weeks, Bethesda will probably announce the game’s availability for PS5 around the same time. As soon as official details are revealed, we’ll share them with you here on ComicBook.
