Duck Dynasty’s Mary Kate Robertson, John Luke Robertson Welcome Twins

Some new ducklings have joined the Duck Dynasty family.

John Luke Robertson and Mary Kate Robertson welcomed their twin daughters, Sylvie and Francie, on February 24th, four months after announcing they were expecting.

The couple, known from Duck Dynasty, announced the arrival of their twin daughters, Sylvie and Francie, on February 24th. They shared the happy news on Instagram on March 1st, saying they are overjoyed and feel blessed by their new babies. They are also parents to John (6), Ella (4), and Wells (2).

John Luke and Mary Kate, both 30, celebrated the arrival of their babies with some sweet photos. The pictures showed the newborns lying together in their bassinet, and also featured individual shots of the girls wearing identical sweaters with their names stitched on them.

A heartwarming photo showed John Luke, the oldest son of Willie and Korie Robertson, smiling next to Mary Kate while she was in the hospital with their new babies resting on her chest.

After sharing their news, John Luke and Mary Kate, who married in 2015, received lots of supportive messages from their fans and family, including Korie and Sadie Robertson Huff.

Korie absolutely adores her granddaughters, excitedly sharing how much she loves them. She reposted a photo from John Luke and Mary Kate and called them “the greatest little blessings,” expressing her deep affection.

John Luke’s sister, Sadie, simply called the photos “perfection.” She also shared them on her Instagram Story, writing, “THE BEST. We are in LOVE!”

Sadie complimented her brother and sister-in-law, saying Mary Kate and John Luke are amazing parents.

Sylvie and Francie aren’t the only new additions to the Duck Dynasty family in the last few months. 

This fall brought two new additions to the Robertson family! Priscilla Robertson, daughter of Jessica and Jep Robertson, had a baby girl named August Mae Nash in October. Then, in December, Jessica and Jep’s eldest daughter, Merritt Robertson, and her husband, Tyler Metro, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Nellie Jane Metro.

I’ve been following the Robertsons for a while now, and what always strikes me is how close they remain, even as their family and business have grown. Sadie really summed it up perfectly when she told TopMob News in 2021 that she’s just so thankful for her family being her rock and getting through everything together. It’s truly inspiring to see.

She continued, saying that despite all the changes in their lives, their core selves remained the same, and she was incredibly thankful for that.

Phil Robertson and his wife, Miss Kay (born Marsha Kay Carroway), shared a 59-year marriage. Phil passed away in May 2025 at the age of 79.

Phil Robertson, the founder of Duck Commander, and his wife Kay, raised four sons: Alan, Jason (known as Jase), Willie, and Jep. Phil also has a daughter, Phyllis, born from a relationship outside of his marriage in the 1970s.

In December 2024, the family announced that Phil was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Despite this, he remained a central figure in their lives as they began filming Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which aired in June 2025.

Phil’s health issues have been difficult for the whole family, as Korie Robertson shared. She believes Phil wouldn’t openly admit it, but it’s clearly had an impact on Willie, causing him to reflect deeply on what he wants to be remembered for.

Jase married Missy Robertson in 1990.

The couple share sons Reed Robertson and Cole Robertson, as well as daughter Mia Robertson.

Although Jase helped create some of the famous duck calls for Duck Commander, he’s not the one people turn to for predicting the future.

We’re a pretty wild bunch, but I honestly doubted anyone would actually want to watch us! It just goes to show, you never know what’s going to resonate with people.

Reed and his wife, Brighton Robertson, have three children together. Meanwhile, Cole announced his engagement to Emily Hamn in March 2025.

Willie has led Duck Commander as CEO since 2002, but with the start of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, he’s beginning to plan his retirement.

Phil Robertson married Korie Howard in 1992, and together they have six children. These include Rebecca Robertson, who joined the family as a 16-year-old exchange student in 2004 after being born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Taiwan, and was fully embraced as one of their own. Their biological children are John Luke, Sadie, Bella, and Will Robertson Jr., who they adopted as an infant in 2001. They also adopted Rowdy Robertson in 2016 when he was 13 years old.

The couple are now grandparents to nine children. John Luke and his wife, Mary Kate Robertson, have three children: sons John Shepherd and Wells, and daughter Ella. Sadie and her husband, Christian Huff, have three daughters. Rebecca and her husband, John Reed, are parents to sons Zane and Xander, and daughter Holland.

Sadie and Christian got married in 2019 at the Louisiana home of the Robertson family, known for their faith-based values. Christian founded 4:8 Men, a fitness company built on those same values.

Honestly, seeing them make each other better is just everything! They’re, like, best friends, and it’s so sweet. I totally get what he said – you just can’t imagine going a single day without your person. I’m so happy they don’t have to anymore, it’s just… perfect! They’re always together now, and it makes me so incredibly happy for them!

The couple has three daughters: Honey James Huff, born in May 2021, Haven Belle Huff, born in May 2023, and Kit Carroway Huff, who arrived in August 2025.

Youngest Robertson brother Jep has been married to Jessica since 2001.

They share three daughters—Lily, Merritt and Priscilla—as well as sons River and Gus.

The family is expanding quickly! Lily and Austin Staulbaum welcomed their son, Winston Ezelle Stalbaum, in February 2025. Merritt and Tyler Metro are expecting a baby in December, and Jessica announced in July that Priscilla is pregnant with a daughter, due in October.

Silas Robertson, known affectionately as Uncle Si to viewers of the show Duck Dynasty, has been happily married to Christine Robertson since 1971. He’s often remembered as the standout younger brother in the family.

The Army vet and his bride share daughter Trasa and son Scott.

Trasa and her husband, Kyle Coburn, are parents to four sons. Scott also has four children with his wife, Marsha Robertson, who is a musician and plays in a band with her father-in-law called Uncle Si & the Sicotics.

Phil unexpectedly learned later in life that he had a daughter who was already an adult. She was the result of an affair he’d had in the 1970s.

In March 2020, the family announced the news together on their podcast, Unashamed, with the father joined by his sons Al, Jase, Willie, and Jep.

Al shared that he received a letter from Phyllis Thomas suggesting they might be siblings. After considering it, Al spoke with his parents, and Phil agreed to take a DNA test to confirm.

Phyllis was subsequently welcomed into the fold.

Korie told TopMob News in 2023 that Kay immediately embraced Phyllis when she joined the family. “From the very beginning, Kay welcomed her with open arms, and she quickly became one of us,” Korie said.
