Jamie Lee Curtis is offering support and a little bit of skin.

The star of Freakier Friday had a near wardrobe malfunction while in New York City, briefly exposing her black lingerie. The 67-year-old actress explained she was celebrating the premiere of Maggie Gyllenhaal’s new film.

Jamie Lee Curtis shared a playful Instagram post celebrating her goddaughter, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s, new film, The Bride. Curtis described the movie as daring, unconventional, and feminist, and mentioned Gyllenhaal sent her lingerie as part of a collaboration with Victoria’s Secret. In the post, a selfie taken in a car, Curtis is seen wearing the lingerie to show her support for both the film and her own work as an actress.

The True Lies actress shared that she did her best to make a positive impact, and Maggie was very proud of her efforts.

She explained she didn’t know how to properly show her support, so she did what she could while riding in a limo around New York City. She’s incredibly proud of Warner Bros. and the person involved.

The lingerie collection was created in partnership with the film The Bride, but the Oscar-winning actress also explained it connects to her role in the new Scarpetta series.

She also mentioned it’s very much a Dorothy Farinelli project. That’s why she’s in New York – to promote the TV show #scarpetta, which she’s producing and starring in alongside Nicole Kidman for Amazon Prime and NowScreamingPV.
