5 Emmerdale spoilers for next week
1. Cain Dingle tells Moira about his cancer diagnosis and Butler’s Farm dilemma

Cain surveys Butler’s Farm, worried he’s on the verge of losing it all. He feels guilty, but Moira thanks him for managing things while she was away.
Joe is getting closer, and bills are mounting, so Cain tells Sarah he has Joe trapped – threatening to send him to prison. Sarah urges him to tell Moira what’s happening before he loses everything he has.
Sarah is also struggling with her own problems. Keeping Cain’s medical condition a secret is putting a strain on her relationship with Jacob, and Belle is noticing something is wrong and trying to find out what it is. Sarah feels bad that she can’t share what’s happening with Belle.

Cain is deeply disturbed when he finds blood in the toilet at the Woolpack. Noticing how upset Cain is, Liam urges him to finally be truthful about what’s going on with his health.
He went to the prison with shocking news: his cancer is much more serious than he had admitted, leaving Moira heartbroken that he’d kept it hidden for a month. She insists he tell Kyle, Isaac, and the rest of their family. Despite also being upset to hear that Joe is still causing trouble around the farm, Moira firmly believes his health needs to be the priority.
Joe is upset that Kim doesn’t seem excited about his idea to combine Butler’s with the Tate business. Kim then goes to the prison to speak with Moira, but the reason for their meeting remains a mystery.

Throughout the village, Cain quietly starts the difficult task of sharing his diagnosis with his family and friends. He pulls Kyle and Isaac into the back room of the Woolpack pub for what quickly becomes one of the most painful conversations of his life.
Sam’s touching speech helps Cain realize how much he’s loved, and he goes outside to think things over. There’s also some good news for the farm: Vanessa shares positive tuberculosis test results for the cattle, giving Mack, Matty, and Ross a glimmer of hope that things might finally be improving.
2. Graham Foster deals an ultimatum to Rhona Goskirk

Graham tells Rhona he’s been aware of Cain’s health issues for a while, and that knowledge influenced his actions during the conflict between Cain and Joe, leading him to try and appease both men.
I happened to see a really intense moment between them, and the next day, Lydia immediately told Kim all about it. She claims she’s totally fine and it doesn’t bother her, but honestly, I’m not sure if I believe her.

Graham issues Rhona a final demand: meet him on the footbridge at 12:30, or he’s ending things completely. Rhona is conflicted, and a worried Graham anxiously waits, ready to be honest about his feelings.
Will Rhona turn up?
3. Gabby Thomas tries to make a breakthrough with brother Arthur

After Arthur pushed her down the stairs, Laurel confides in Nicola about what happened. Meanwhile, Arthur rejects Jai’s job offer at the depot.
Gabby tries to talk about how his mother is doing, and he finally confesses he’s been distancing himself from her.
She then offers him a fresh approach, but will he take it?
4. Kerry Wyatt avoids the village gossip about her relationship with Jai Sharma

Kerry skillfully avoided Nicola’s attempts to get information at the café, but she secretly made plans to meet with Jai later that same day.
They really want to keep their relationship private, but Nicola is determined to find out what’s going on, making that unlikely. She’s constantly watching them and suspects they’re becoming more than just friends.
5. Paddy Dingle receives news about Bear Wolf

Paddy receives an update from the ward manager at Bear’s secure mental health unit.
So, I found out my dad’s up for review – they’re deciding if he’s ready to be released. The really awful part? He knows if he is released, he’s going straight to prison. It’s a total gut punch, honestly.
How will he take to this news?
