2) Lockwood & Co
Lockwood & Co. was a fantastic supernatural thriller that, unfortunately, was cancelled by Netflix after just one season. The show centers around a teenage psychic who teams up with two boys at a ghost-hunting agency to fight dangerous ghosts in London and uncover the source of the country’s haunting problem. It was beautifully written with incredibly detailed world-building and a truly amazing soundtrack. Though aimed at younger viewers, the show was clever and sophisticated, delivering a near-flawless script with a witty and engaging style.
1) Wynonna Earp
Wynonna Earp is a unique show that blends the supernatural action of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the Western feel of Tombstone, all set in the cold landscapes of Canada. The series follows Wynonna, the great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp, as she discovers she’s inherited both a powerful ability and a dangerous family curse. Armed with her ancestor’s magical gun, Peacemaker, and alongside her sister Waverly and a group of friends, she battles hordes of demons called revenants. Though the show was cancelled before its time, it’s become a beloved cult classic, with dedicated fans even starting a petition to revive it. It was a thrilling, enjoyable, and truly original series.
