Imagine a subway train zipping along tracks, fighting off giant, monstrous trains in a futuristic, rundown Japan – all with a vibrant, energetic style reminiscent of Jet Set Radio. That’s Denshattack! from Undercoders, and it’s shaping up to be incredibly cool! The good news is you won’t have to wait long to play it – it’s launching on June 17th, and will also be available on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
I’m so excited! If you’re a Switch owner, you can finally try out the demo today! And for those of us on PC who maybe missed Steam Next Fest, the developers, Undercoders, have extended the PC demo – indefinitely! Seriously, it was super popular during the festival, so if you haven’t played it yet, you really should.
Denshattack! is launching on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game is set in a vibrant future controlled by a tyrannical force called the Miraidō. You play as a new recruit in a resistance movement, and you’ll need to become skilled at ‘train skating’ – a unique form of movement – to overthrow them.
As you play, you’ll unlock new abilities, earn impressive scores, and compete against a variety of challenging opponents. Expect more than just typical trains – you’ll encounter things like castles that turn into weapons and giant worms! See it all in the trailer below.
