Cyberpunk 2077 Is Bringing an In-Game Weapon to Life

The Thermal Errata Katana is a standout weapon in Cyberpunk 2077. Players can find it in various places throughout the game’s huge world, and it’s known for being both powerful and stylish in close combat.

Introducing the Thermal Katana! This incredibly detailed replica of a weapon from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 is now available thanks to a partnership between CD PROJEKT RED and Zing!. Inspired by the cutting-edge tech found in Night City, the Thermal Katana lets you become the mercenary legend you were meant to be.

In the game, players control V and use a katana with incredible skill, channeling heat energy to defeat opponents. A real-life version of the katana has been created, measuring almost four feet long and shipped in three parts for simple assembly.

The katana features built-in LED lights that create a unique red glow, and you can easily turn them on or off. Plus, a sound chip adds to the immersive experience by playing authentic combat sounds from Night City with every swing.

The timing is perfect for a wider audience to experience Cyberpunk 2077! Starting this month, March 2026, the game – complete with all updates – will be available on Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One Premium and Ultimate subscribers can play it for free. CD Projekt Red notes that Xbox Series X players can choose between a smooth 60 frames per second Performance Mode or stunning 4K Ultra HD visuals in Quality Mode. Xbox One players will receive the full game, including all content up to and including the 1.6 ‘Edgerunners’ Update.
