A fresh trailer for Invincible VS is out now, revealing that Dupli-Kate will be a playable character in the game.
Kate Cha, who operates under another identity, is a mysterious figure. She’s fiercely independent but can also collaborate well with other heroes. Her unique ability – creating clones – comes with a drawback: they’re all linked telepathically. This means they share information, but also any pain or injury. In a dangerous world where clones frequently face deadly threats, this shared experience can be a significant weakness.
Dupli-Kate appears to be a very strong fighter, skillfully using her clones to confuse opponents and set up long attack combinations. The latest trailer shows Omni-Man struggling against her, and characters with slower attacks will likely find themselves constantly defending when facing her.
Dupli-Kate is joining the game right after Powerplex was added! We anticipate more character announcements before the game launches on April 30th. In the meantime, you can see Kate’s abilities in the video below.
