Hoa 2 announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC

PM Studios and Skrollcat Studio have revealed the next installment in the Hoa series, Hoa 2. This 3D adventure game follows the original Hoa, which was a side-scrolling puzzle platformer. Hoa 2 is scheduled to release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.

According to Son Tung Cao, the designer and founder of Skrollcat Studio, the character Hoa has experienced significant personal growth, and the game’s world mirrors her internal journey – a newfound freedom and ability to explore, alongside a sense of loss and the lessons it teaches. The team aims to capture this complexity in both how the game plays and the world itself, continuing to develop Hoa’s story.

PM Studios CEO Michael Yum shared that Hoa was a significant achievement for the company, both in terms of its success and the strong emotional connection it created with players. He highlighted the game’s beautiful art, engaging story, and easy-to-learn gameplay as key factors in its appeal, and expressed pride in its impact and excitement about continuing the series with Hoa 2.

She returns to a homeland transformed by time, only to find her old friends are gone.
