Hailey Bieber Shares How Justin Bieber Helps Her Navigate Scrutiny

Even when things get tough under public scrutiny—and dealing with rumors and negativity—they thankfully have each other for support.

As someone who’s navigated a lot of public attention, I’ve learned how crucial it is to have a supportive partner. My husband, especially, gets it – he’s been in the spotlight since he was young. Honestly, having someone who truly understands that level of scrutiny is the biggest comfort and source of understanding I could ask for. It makes all the difference.

After all, Hailey, too, has long been in her own spotlight.

To be honest, it never really gets easier,” she said. “It’s always hard dealing with constant attention, outside opinions, and feeling like you’re always being watched.”

She acknowledged that while people often get used to difficult things, it doesn’t make those experiences any easier or less painful.

Hailey, who shares 19-month-old Jack Blues Bieber with Justin, has gotten better at communicating how negative comments impact her. Also, Justin isn’t the only celebrity she knows.

The founder of Rhode, who has been friends with Kendall and Kylie Jenner for years, explained that it’s comforting to talk to people who understand what she’s going through. She noted that it’s difficult for others to truly grasp the situation if they haven’t experienced something similar themselves.

Hailey and Justin not only support each other through the difficulties of fame, but they also make a great team when it comes to parenting.

While Hailey was working in Australia, Justin Bieber stayed home to take care of things.

Hailey shared at the Vogue Forces of Fashion event on February 13th that it’s easier to balance work with knowing her son is happily at home with his dad. She said having that support system is incredibly liberating.

As she put it, “Having a great partner is really important. And sharing responsibilities.”

Which makes it even more fun when they can also bring that partnership into the professional world. 

She said she loves working with her partner. She and Justin don’t see their collaborations as work, but as a fun way to share their passions and create things they both enjoy.

The trio bundled up in “November aka the best month of the year,” as Hailey wrote on Instagram.
