It looks like Denji’s story is wrapping up, as the second part of Chainsaw Man is coming to an end. Thanks to the success of the first season’s anime adaptation by Studio MAPPA and the recent movie, Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc, the series has been a major force in anime for years. Creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has announced only one chapter remains in the current arc, leaving fans to speculate whether this is the end of the series or if a third part will appear in Weekly Shonen Jump.
I’m so hyped – we finally have a date for the last chapter of Chainsaw Man Part 2! It’s coming on March 24th, right after that insane Chapter 231. I don’t want to spoil anything, but things are going to be seriously different for Denji. Last time we saw them, Denji and Asa had accidentally gotten rid of death, which… well, that created a huge problem with these world-devouring insects. The Chainsaw Devil was just gobbling up other devils, and everything was falling apart. But Chapter 232 promises to shake things up completely, and I can’t wait to see what happens!
Chainsaw Man Part 2: How Will It End?

Spoiler alert: This article discusses major plot points from Chainsaw Man Chapter 231. The latest chapter takes a surprising turn after Denji was cornered. Inside his mind, Denji and Pochita have a revealing conversation where Pochita reveals that Denji has been devoured by another devil. Pochita suggests this might actually be a positive development, and in a shocking moment, declares it will destroy its own heart. The chapter ends with a major cliffhanger, leaving readers wondering what will happen next.
Pochita sacrifices himself by consuming his own heart, encouraging Denji to continue dreaming before everything fades to black. The final panel of Chapter 231 shows a familiar shack, hinting at a return to the story’s origins. However, if the Chainsaw Devil hadn’t existed, it raises many questions for fans. What impact would this have on the world, and how would Denji’s life be different?
While Pochita’s disappearance doesn’t eliminate devils entirely, it has completely changed the course of the story. Despite everything Denji and his friends have faced, this new reality could actually be a positive change, even if it means a difficult life for the main character. If a third part of Chainsaw Man is made, it will likely be very different from what fans have seen so far.
