Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Early Access ‘Greed & Glory’ update now available

11 bit studios and Digital Sun have launched the “Greed & Glory” update for the early-access game Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. This update introduces a new way to fight, new weapons, and wave-based challenges, among other improvements.

Here are the details:

HEX is a new combat style that lets players inflict curses on enemies, causing damage over time that can spread to others. It’s strong by itself, but especially effective when used with existing paths like Thunder, which many players already enjoy, offering a new and interesting way to tackle dungeons.

Players can find some great new equipment, and one item in particular will really boost Will’s fighting skills: the Blo-Blitz dual guns. They’re perfect for players who prefer a quick and energetic playstyle. If you want to craft them, you’ll need to complete a special quest, so don’t delay!

This update delivers a significant amount of new content. Players can explore twenty new combat rooms, benefit from expanded perk sets from Nou, Anacard, and Sliver, discover new build combinations at Andrei’s, and enjoy around ten new cosmetic items for the shop. The Witch now has a skill tree focused on improving survivability, K33P3R’s skill tree offers more options for the shop, and the story of the 5th Key continues for players who have completed the challenges of the 4th Key.

The Greed Colosseum is a new challenge where you fight waves of enemies, with each area offering unique opponents and mini-bosses that get harder with each round. We’ve also subtly adjusted relic prices and the game’s economy to make progression feel more rewarding. These improvements help the gold system work better and ensure upgrades feel earned, bringing Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault closer to its full potential before the official launch.

Currently available on PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store as an Early Access title, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is scheduled to fully launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC in late 2026.
