There was only one person who could play June Osbourne’s daughter.
With the upcoming premiere of The Testaments, a spin-off of The Handmaid’s Tale, Elizabeth Moss, who starred in the original series, explained why Chase Infiniti, known for their role in One Battle After Another, was chosen to play Hannah.
In an interview with TopMob News at the premiere of Imperfect Women on March 10th, Elisabeth described the character as needing depth and intelligence. She explained the character needed to feel like she had a history and a certain complexity. But, Elisabeth also emphasized the importance of portraying her as hopeful, forward-looking, and exceptionally talented, representing both her own qualities and those of her generation.
Elisabeth realized the requirements for playing a character with such a complex history – someone well-known to fans of The Handmaid’s Tale yet still shrouded in mystery – were significant. The character, June, spends the entire original series searching for her daughter without ever finding her, which added to the challenge.
“You do not find that,” she explained. “There’s basically one of them and that’s Chase.”
Will fans finally get the reunion they’ve been hoping for between June and Hannah, who was originally named Agnes MacKenzie before her foster parents changed it?
Elisabeth, a producer on the upcoming series adapted from another novel by Margaret Atwood, remained tight-lipped about the project. “I can’t confirm or deny anything,” she explained. “Answering yes would mean I couldn’t answer no, so I’m not able to share any details at this time.”
As someone who keeps up with what’s happening in entertainment, I’m excited to share a little bit about my new project, Imperfect Women! It’s coming to Apple TV, and I’m working alongside the incredibly talented Kerry Washington and Kate Mara. I can finally give you a peek behind the scenes of what we’ve been working on.

The new show, premiering on the streaming service March 18th, centers around a group of friends keeping secrets from each other. However, Elisabeth clarified that the experience of making the show was quite different from what it portrays.
She explained that they connected immediately and talked constantly from the very beginning. Even when filming required them to be apart, it felt like a disruption to their ability to spend time together and chat. They simply couldn’t stop talking to each other.
Indeed, even after their time on set together came to an end, the friendship has endured.
Elisabeth explained that they still had many unfinished conversations. These ranged from casual, everyday advice to deeply personal stories they wouldn’t share with just anyone. She said this connection was clear from the start.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing the news that Kelly Clarkson’s daytime talk show is ending after seven seasons, and honestly, I completely understand her decision. She’s shared that it wasn’t easy, but ultimately, she’s prioritizing what matters most: her kids, River and Remington. Being a mom is demanding, and it’s wonderful to see her making space to focus on them, especially after everything she’s been through with her divorce from Brandon Blackstock. Family truly comes first, and I applaud her for making that choice.
Kelly announced on February 2nd that she’s taking a step back from her regular work to focus on her children, feeling it’s the best decision for her family right now. She emphasized this isn’t a permanent farewell to performing, as she plans to continue making music, doing occasional concerts, and may appear as a guest on The Voice in the future.
