Pixel art block-pushing puzzle game Hazard Pay launches in June for PS5, Switch, and PC

I’m so excited! I just heard that Hazard Pay, the block-pushing puzzle game with awesome pixel art, is coming to PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam in June. NumskulL Games and Smitner Studio just announced it, and even better, there’s a demo you can play right now on PC!

About

You’re in 1982, called to a hidden research lab in a controlling, Cold War country. In Hazard Pay, you play a government worker sent in after a disaster. Your job seems straightforward: cover up what happened, get things back to normal, and collect your bonus. But as you explore the facility, you’ll discover the dark secrets behind the experiments and realize things are much worse than they appear.

The Officials Want Silence, Not Survivors

Within the Institut für Proteintherapie (IPT), a government initiative meant to address a food shortage has gone terribly wrong. Scientists working to create artificial proteins have instead unleashed monstrous creatures that now roam the facility. Players must explore the laboratories, living quarters, and experimental areas, confronting the terrifying outcomes of these failed experiments.

You’ll encounter dangerous foes like PRS-86, a creature that can’t see but hunts by tracking blood with deadly accuracy, and The Collector, a being that has changed and become uncontrollable.

You’re a cleanup worker, and unfortunately, you’re easily replaceable. If something happens to you, they’ll just send someone else to take your place.
