Spilt Milk Studios is bringing its relaxing shopkeeping game, Trash Goblin, to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 26th.
Trash Goblin was initially released on Steam for PC in Early Access on November 6, 2024, and officially launched on May 28, 2025. It will also be available on the Microsoft Store and on consoles when those versions release.
Spilt Milk Studios is thrilled to release Trash Goblin on consoles. According to creative director Andrew Smith, the game has received fantastic support from players since its initial launch, and bringing it to consoles is a huge achievement. The team is eager for new players to experience the fun of running a goblin shop, cleaning up treasures, and turning junk into something special!

The console release includes the 1.4 “New Horizons” update, which originally came out on PC. This update brings new quests, familiar faces, collectible items, and various improvements to the game.
Trash Goblin is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, offering a complete and charming shopkeeping experience. You play as a goblin who digs up lost treasures, cleans and fixes them up, then combines them to create unique items for quirky customers. With hundreds of collectibles, dozens of interesting characters, and a shop you can personalize and grow, Trash Goblin provides a relaxing and creative gameplay loop. The console version also includes the recent 1.4 “New Horizons” update, which adds new quests featuring familiar faces, even more trinkets, fresh cosmetic options, Achievements, and other improvements.
Okay, so in Trash Goblin, I basically run a shop where I take a ton of weird junk and combine it to make even weirder stuff. It’s all about mixing and matching these trinkets – there are so many possibilities! I’m upcycling garbage into treasures for some really quirky customers. The cool part is, the more I get to know my regulars and what they like, the better I can customize things for them… and the more money I make! It’s a really fun loop of learning what people want and then building it out of trash.
