Skiploom is a new Pokémon available in the latest Pokopia event, and many players are curious about how to add it to their islands.
The recent More Spores for Hoppip event added lots of new things to enjoy, like special items you can purchase using Cotton Spores.
You’re likely already familiar with Skiploom Habitats, so let’s jump right into a quick guide on how to build one in Pokémon Pokopia.
Pokémon Pokopia Skiploom Habitat: How to get Skiploom explained
To find Skiploom in Pokopia, you’ll need to construct either the Yellow Carpet Habitat or the Field-trip Friends Habitat.
The Yellow Carpet Habitat is easy to set up – just place four Dandy Flowers side-by-side. However, you only have a roughly 33% chance of encountering a Skiploom there.
Honestly, if you’re trying to catch a Skiploom, forget wandering around randomly. I’d suggest building the Field-trip Friends Habitat – it’s the only place where Skiploom actually appears, so it’ll save you a ton of time and frustration.

The Field-trip Friends Habitat requires you to place three items next to each other. These are:
- 1x Flower Backpack
- 1x Lunch Box
- 1x Hoppip Water Bottle
You can buy each of these items at Hoppip’s shop in the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center for 5 Cotton Spores apiece.
We’ve created a detailed guide about Cotton Spores, but simply put, you can find them on Dream Islands.
After setting up the Field-trip Friends Habitat, all you need to do is wait for Skiploom to show up. Place a Security Camera nearby, and then you’re free to work on other tasks!
