Spider-Man 4 Trailer Release Date Reportedly Set for Brand New Day

Get ready, Spider-Man fans! The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to arrive very soon, according to recent reports.

There was talk that Sony might reveal the new Spider-Man trailer at CinemaCon next month – the same event where the first teaser for the previous film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, was shown. However, it seems Marvel fans will get a first look at the upcoming movie starring Tom Holland much sooner than expected.

When will the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer be released by Sony?

A trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man game, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is set to launch online next Wednesday, according to a post by The Beyond Reporter on X (formerly Twitter).

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m so excited! It looks like we don’t have much longer to wait for that trailer we’ve all been hoping for. Sony’s releasing it online on March 18, 2026, so mark your calendars, Spider-Man fans – you won’t want to miss it!

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Tom Holland’s seventh movie as Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Filming took place from August to December 2025, and Destin Daniel Cretton directed the film.

Although the specific story is still secret, the new movie takes place four years after the events of No Way Home. This will let Tom Holland play Spider-Man as a more seasoned and confident hero. Rumors suggest the film will begin with a quick, action-packed sequence showing Spider-Man fighting smaller-time villains like Boomerang and Tarantula, giving viewers a glimpse of his adventures over the past few years.

In the upcoming “Brand New Day” storyline, Tombstone, played by Marvin Jones III, will be the primary villain. Michael Mando’s Scorpion and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will also play antagonistic roles. Reports indicate that the Hulk will be driven to destructive behavior in New York City after being influenced by Jean Grey.

While Marvel Studios and Sony haven’t confirmed the roles yet, Sadie Sink is expected to play Jean Grey in the upcoming “Brand New Day” project. Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, and will be tasked with protecting Jean Grey from Damage Control, an organization led by William Metzger, played by Tramell Tillman. Metzger is known as an X-Men villain in the comic books.

Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are back as MJ and Ned, respectively, and they’re joined by new face Liza Colón-Zayas in the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The film is set to release on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
