Here is an overview of the game, via Night Street Games:
About
The year is 197X. Disco music is booming, the energy of the crowd is electric, and the world’s biggest televised competition is about to start.
Welcome to Last Flag—the game where fame, fortune, and your flag are all up for grabs.
Two teams. Two hidden flags. One shot at immortality.
Stash your flag. Find theirs. Snatch it. Run it back. Win.
The world is watching, so don’t forget to do it with style.
This isn’t war. This is showbiz.
Developed by Night Street Games, a studio created by Mac and Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, Last Flag is a team-based shooter for two teams of five players. It’s designed to make Capture the Flag the main event, and offers quick, exciting matches packed with action, dramatic turnarounds, and last-second victories – all in 20 minutes or less.
Okay, so you don’t actually lose when you get taken out. Instead, you get, like, sucked off the stage – think a giant vacuum tube! – and you instantly show up in the green room. From there, I can either jump back to one of the radar towers I’m controlling, or head straight for my base. It’s a quick way to get back in the action!
Last Flag takes place in a vibrant, 1970s-style world and puts you in the role of a contestant on a hugely popular game show, all overseen by the enigmatic Victor Fex.
As soon as the game begins, players rush into a large outdoor space to conceal their team’s flag while simultaneously trying to find the opposing team’s flag. They do this by taking control of radar towers and searching every corner of the map.
Capture the flag. Haul it home. Defend it for one minute to win it.
No matter if you’ve won or lost, you always have the option to try again.
Key Features
- CTF is the Main Event – Built from the ground up for Capture the Flag. Every mechanic—from sneaky flag placement to radar tower intel—is designed to create strategic tension, dramatic reversals, and last-second heroics.
- 10 Contestants, 10 Big Personalities – From Masako, the heavy metal archer who screams as loud as she strikes, to Parker, the speedy scout and his trusty cybernetic falcon, every Contestant brings a distinct vibe, playstyle, and dramatic flair. - Original Soundtrack by Dan Reynolds and Friends – Fuzzy guitars, analog synths, and legit 1970s studio magic, crafted with real vintage gear by Dan, Grammy-nominated producer / writer JT Daly (Benson Boone, K.Flay, Bully), and Night Street Games’ own soundsmith Dave Lowmiller (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Battlefield, Dead Space).
- Casually Competitive – No pressure. This isn’t a sweaty tactical shooter. It’s tight, fast, and fun gameplay that’s easy to jump into and hard to put down.
