With each passing the month, the number of impending PS Store delistings stack up.
And this period is a particularly big one for impending server closures and delistings.
Here’s everything you need to be aware of for the remainder of March and the entirety of April:
- The Finals (PS4): 18th March (Online Services Disabled)
- WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros (PS4): 31st March (Online Services Disabled)
- WWE 2K24 (PS5, PS4): 31st March (Online Services Disabled)
- Zombie Army VR (PSVR2): 31st March (Online Services Disabled)
- Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection (PS5, PS4): 1st April (Delisted)
- Tower of Fantasy (PS4): 7th April (Delisted); 20th October (Online Services Disabled)
- Genshin Impact (PS4): 8th April (Online Services Disabled)
- King of Meat (PS5): 9th April (Online Services Disabled)
- Granblue: Fantasy Versus (PS4): 20th April (Online Services Disabled)
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt (PS5): 28th April (Online Services Disabled)
As we mentioned before, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off in The Finals and Genshin Impact on PS5 when those games stop running on their current servers. Your progress will automatically move over.
Tower of Fantasy will be removed from sale in early April, but PlayStation 5 players will have until October 20th to switch over. The game’s store will close and you won’t be able to make purchases starting in September.
King of Meat will be shutting down on April 9th. Because the game has only been available for about six months, players will receive refunds for any purchases they’ve made.
However, the situation is different for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. Its servers will shut down and the game will no longer be playable starting April 28th.
Even after online services for Granblue: Fantasy Versus are reduced on April 20th, you’ll still be able to play the game offline. However, some trophies will no longer be obtainable. The upcoming version, Granblue: Fantasy Versus Rising, won’t be affected by these changes.
One of the most significant removals recently is the Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection. Due to licensing issues, this game will no longer be available on the PlayStation Store starting April 1st.
If you already bought the game, especially if you got it during a recent sale, it will still be accessible in your game library. A physical copy is also an option, but it will likely become much more expensive as fewer copies are available.
