That game was incredible, and it scored a whopping 96 on Metacritic, making it one of the best games ever made – a lot of people even call it the greatest RPG of all time. The story wrapped up with Mass Effect 3 in 2012, which was still fantastic and got a 93 on Metacritic, bringing the whole trilogy to a satisfying close.

This collection doesn’t include Mass Effect Andromeda from 2017, which is a good thing – it wasn’t as well-received as the original trilogy. With a new Mass Effect game coming soon, now is the perfect time to play through the trilogy and enjoy some of the best science fiction gaming available.
