Fans have been eagerly awaiting the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and it looks like it might finally be coming soon. Originally, the first look at the film was predicted to arrive in December 2025, coinciding with the release of the first Avengers: Doomsday teasers (and a leaked version of the trailer). However, since then, there’s been a lot of discussion, but not much confirmed news.
Although it hasn’t been officially announced, rumors suggest the trailer for the new Spider-Man movie will be released this week, possibly shown before screenings of Project Hail Mary. A recent post from Ascar Cinema, a distributor for Disney and Sony in Kazakhstan, claimed the trailer will debut on Wednesday, March 18th, at 4:05 am Pacific Time / 7:05 am Eastern Time. This post has since been deleted, as reported by @builtforsmash on X.
The first trailer for “SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY” is coming out this Wednesday, March 18th, according to a Sony Pictures distributor in Kazakhstan. Here are the release times in different cities: New York at 7:05 AM, São Paulo at 8:05 AM, London at 11:05 AM, and Paris at 12:05 PM.

This aligns with what people are guessing about the release, but we should still be cautious for now. The reported timing seems a bit strange, considering it’s so early in the US – most trailers aren’t released before 9 am Eastern Time. We’ll have to wait for official confirmation from Sony to know for sure.
Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Release Strategy Will Pay Off
Marvel fans are excited for the first trailer, and Sony’s strategy seems likely to succeed. The upcoming footage is generating a lot of buzz, and if released online this week, it will be a significant event. It’s also planned to be shown before what’s currently considered one of the best films of 2026.
The new trailer is being released later than the trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, but earlier than Spider-Man: No Way Home. If the trailer arrives this week as expected, it will be released roughly four months before the movie comes out – a similar timeframe to No Way Home. Despite a long wait and lots of questions about when the No Way Home trailer would drop, its release ultimately benefited the film, which went on to earn nearly $2 billion worldwide.
It’s unrealistic to expect the new Spider-Man movie to be as huge as No Way Home, which was a special event bringing back previous Spider-Men. Still, this film should be one of the biggest releases of 2026, and the upcoming trailer will likely explain why. We can anticipate seeing hints about Sadie Sink’s character, the roles of characters like The Punisher and Tombstone, and maybe even the Hulk. The trailer will probably also give us a closer look at Spider-Man’s new costume and a better understanding of where Peter Parker’s life is at after the events of No Way Home.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day releases in theaters on July 31st, 2026.
