Zendaya Reacts to Tom Holland Marriage Rumors

Zendaya and Tom Holland might be at a new stage in their relationship, but Zendaya isn’t sharing any specifics about it.

Following hints from her stylist, Law Roach, at the 2026 Actor Awards that they’d secretly gotten married, the Dune actress playfully responded to questions about whether she and Tom had officially tied the knot.

On the March 16th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, host Jimmy Kimmel joked about the online rumors that Zendaya might be married to Tom Holland. Zendaya responded playfully, saying she hadn’t noticed any of those stories.

The Spider-Man actress confirmed she’d seen the AI-generated wedding photos of her and her partner that have been going around online, and she had to explain the situation to people in person.

She confessed that a lot of people had been tricked, recalling instances where strangers complimented her “gorgeous wedding photos” only for her to reveal they were actually created using AI – they weren’t genuine.

Jimmy showed a clip from Zendaya’s movie, The Drama, featuring Robert Pattinson. He cleverly replaced Pattinson’s face with a picture of Tom’s head in a scene where the characters were taking wedding photos.

Law first broke the news when he attended the Actor Awards (formerly the SAG Awards) on March 1. 

“The wedding has already happened,” he told Access Hollywood. “You missed it.”

With a laugh, the 47-year-old added, “It’s very true.”

News of Zendaya and Tom’s possible wedding came as a surprise, especially since Tom Holland had previously said they weren’t rushing into plans and had plenty of time to prepare.

As a stylist, I can tell you that we haven’t even begun thinking about red carpet looks for Zendaya yet! She’s incredibly busy filming, currently deep into production on the new Dune movie, which keeps her location-bound. With so many projects on her plate, we have a little breathing room before we need to focus on events and outfits, which is great!

In addition to sharing the new timeline, Law, who has known actress Zendaya for over ten years, shared how heartwarming it is to witness the couple’s relationship unfold.

He explained that they’ve been deeply in love for a long time, and he finds it wonderful that so many people have been able to witness and enjoy their relationship.

In addition to sharing the new dates, Law, who has known the Challengers actress for over ten years, shared how wonderful it has been to witness their relationship develop.

As a longtime fan, it’s so clear to me how deeply in love they are – they’ve been together for ages! What I find truly special is that the rest of us have gotten to witness and enjoy their beautiful relationship with them. It’s just lovely to see.

Why do Zendaya and Tom Holland, who started dating in 2021, prefer to keep their relationship private?

When asked about Zendaya’s future plans, her stylist, Law Roach, jokingly told TopMob News in April 2025 that she was taking a break until 2026.

A few months after that, he told TopMob at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards that they hadn’t begun working on the project yet. He explained that Zendaya was busy filming multiple movies, including the next Dune film, which meant they had plenty of time before they could start.

There will likely be several dresses – one for the ceremony, another for the reception, and perhaps others for related events. However, don’t be surprised if the bride also wears a fantastic pantsuit somewhere during the celebrations.

Law doesn’t think anyone will ever get a detailed look at her wedding preparations or see photos of her wedding dress, predicting there won’t be a glamorous, public account of the event.

Zendaya and Tom Holland are making a conscious effort to keep their relationship private. Fashion designer Tim Gunn, speaking on the Please Explain podcast, predicted there won’t be any public displays like a Vogue wedding spread or photos. He believes anyone invited to their wedding will respect their desire for privacy, meaning their wedding dress and the event itself will likely remain unseen by the public.

Zendaya loves fashion from a variety of designers. Some of her favorites include Nicolas Ghesquière of Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, and brands like Versace, Valentino, and Tom Ford.

If Tom Holland and Zendaya decide to get married, their wedding could be a very glamorous event with lots of famous guests.

When it comes to imagining Zendaya and Tom’s wedding guest list, family is definitely a big part of it! Zendaya has a lovely blended family with three half-sisters and two half-brothers from her dad’s side, and Tom comes from a big family too, with three younger brothers. Beyond family, I’m picturing a seriously cool group of friends there. Zendaya’s close with stars like Timothée Chalamet, Bella Thorne, and Hunter Schafer, while Tom is really good friends with Jacob Batalon – you probably know him as Ned from the Spider-Man movies! It’s going to be quite the celebration.

Timothée told Variety in 2022 that his Dune costar has become like a sister to him. He said he’s very thankful to have her as a friend, partner, and sister.

Storm Reid, known for her role as Zendaya’s sister in Euphoria, shared with TopMob News in September 2025 that she hopes to be a flower girl at Zendaya’s wedding. Even if she doesn’t get the chance, she expressed how happy she is for Zendaya and wishes her all the best.

There’s going to be dancing, of course, and Holland has also become friends with Benson Boone, who is available to perform on the date of the event.

When asked if he would perform at the couple’s wedding, the singer of “Slow It Down” enthusiastically told TopMob News at the 2025 American Music Awards in May, “Absolutely, yes! There’s no way I’d miss that.”

And, really, will the marriage even be legal if the newlyweds don’t engage in a lip sync battle?

Zendaya might have hinted at an engagement when she started wearing a thin gold ring on her left ring finger.

She replaced her engagement ring with a simpler piece, which will likely look lovely alongside her 5.02-carat diamond ring by British jeweler Jessica McCormack. The new ring features a vintage-inspired setting in both white and yellow gold, as described on the jeweler’s website.

Tom had bought a ring, his father, comedian Dominic Holland, revealed in a Patreon post from January 2025, confirming that he had proposed. He’d also asked her father for his blessing. Tom had thought of every detail – the timing, location, what he would say, and even what he would wear.

Zendaya and Tom could get married in many beautiful places, but having the wedding in England, where Tom grew up, would be a great option.

If you’re looking to have a fairy-tale day, the United Kingdom has castles.

Or lack thereof.

In a 2021 interview with GQ, Zendaya beautifully described love, saying it’s a deeply special and meaningful experience that should be shared and enjoyed between two people who care for each other.

I’ll never forget what she shared with Robert Pattinson in that Interview magazine conversation back in February 2026. She basically said that when you’re in the public eye, a lot is out of your control. But some parts of your life, the really important things, you have to keep just for yourself and the people you care about. It really resonated with me.
