This year has been moving quickly for Shueisha and Shonen Jump, with several series wrapping up this winter. While many expected Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo to finish soon, its ending felt sudden. More surprisingly, Chainsaw Man Part 2, which has been building to its final battle for a while, announced it will conclude in the next issue, coming out later this month.
It’s already a big shock for Shonen Jump readers, but it looks like several series are wrapping up this year. While it’s hard to say what will happen with newer, smaller manga, three major titles are definitely coming to an end, and we might see one finish as early as next month. It’s a little unsettling, honestly, wondering what the future holds for some of these long-running stories.
3) Blue Box

Blue Box is a hugely popular manga aimed at young men, and it’s become successful by doing things a little differently than most series in the genre. Combining sports and romance, it has been running for over five years and has published more than 230 chapters, establishing itself as a standout title in Shonen Jump.
The manga is nearing its conclusion, having entered its final stages according to an announcement at Jump Festa 2026 over three months ago. Recent events in the story indicate the end is even closer now. While Blue Box is expected to finish in 2026, it’s possible the story could extend beyond that timeframe.
2) Sakamoto Days

Yuto Suzuki’s Sakamoto Days is a hugely popular action manga, ranking among the biggest shonen series like One Piece. The story, which centers around assassins and exciting battles, seems to be nearing its conclusion. The final arc began in July 2025 and is currently unfolding.
After dedicating over eight months to this final story arc, the series is nearing its end. It wouldn’t be shocking if the manga announces its conclusion in the next few months, similar to what happened with Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo and Chainsaw Man. However, it might continue a bit longer than another series, which is scheduled to end next month.
1) Black Clover

Black Clover is a hugely popular manga from Shonen Jump, and many fans consider it a classic example of the shonen genre. It’s been running for over ten years. When the manga moved from Shonen Jump magazine to Jump Giga, some worried it might be cancelled. Fortunately, new chapters continued to be released, and the story is now heading towards a satisfying ending.
The most recent chapters, published in the Winter 2026 issue, wrapped up the final battle perfectly and started showing what happens to the main characters afterward. This all but confirms that the manga will finish with the next set of chapters in next month’s Spring issue of Jump Giga. Black Clover’s long run is a prime example of a successful, enduring series, and it sets a high bar for new shonen manga, especially since many modern series are being cancelled or have shorter stories. The fact that three major Shonen Jump series are ending this year is a significant event for the magazine.
