The walls are closing in on child groomer Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) in Coronation Street.
She’s been secretly dating Will Driscoll for several months and is now pregnant with his child. To keep their relationship a secret, she’s threatening Sam Blakeman, hoping he won’t reveal what he knows.
He’s been frantically searching for proof to back up what he says, going so far as to secretly install a camera in her apartment. However, Megan always finds out and stops him. She’s threatened him several times, and the stress has led him to rely on ADHD medication to cope.
He collapsed from a drug overdose earlier this week and had to be taken to the hospital. His former stepmother, Leanne, suspected something more than just school stress was bothering him and decided to investigate what was really going on.
Megan grew more and more worried he would reveal something, so she went to his room and threatened to falsely accuse him of spying if he did.

Unaware of Leanne’s presence, Sam’s fear was clear to anyone watching – and Leanne was watching from the window.
Now that he was feeling better after his overdose, Leanne tried to have a serious talk with him, urging him to tell her the truth. He started to open up, but just then Will’s stepmother, Eva Price, came in, and he clammed up.

Luckily, Eva showing up didn’t stop him from telling the truth. He explained that Will wasn’t the only student she’d been involved with, and another student had even openly talked about dating her.
Eva found it hard to accept what Sam told her. She had been so welcoming to Megan, inviting her into her home for Christmas and even helping her find a place to live by introducing her to Leanne.
Eva suspected Sam had gotten the wrong idea about her friendship with Will and felt there was more to the situation. Still, she wanted to talk to Megan and get her perspective. Eva, along with Leanne and Toyah Battersby, braced themselves for a difficult conversation.

Megan met with some women at the Rovers and told them Will was strongly attracted to her. She explained she didn’t want to cause him any embarrassment by discussing it with his family, and that she had already rejected his attempts to get closer to her several times.
Eva gave the impression she accepted the explanation, but when Megan wasn’t around, she told Leanne and Toyah she didn’t trust a single thing she’d heard.
Tomorrow, they plan to go to the police and make her pay for her abhorrent behaviour.
Is this the end of Megan?
