Ghost hunting co-op adventure game Spook-A-Boo announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC

Soft Source Publishing and Wala Interactive, a developer based in New Delhi, have revealed Spook-A-Boo, a cooperative ghost hunting game, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC in 2026. A demo is currently available on Steam for PC players.

According to Wala Interactive’s Megha Gupta, Spook-A-Boo is designed to recapture the fun of classic multiplayer gaming – think gathering around the TV with friends and sharing controllers. This demo offers a preview of the final game, which is expected to release later this year, and the team hopes players enjoy it as much as they enjoyed creating it.

Sameer Pandit, publishing director at Soft Source Publishing, said they were immediately impressed with the game Spook-A-Boo and the team who created it. He explained that it perfectly aligns with Soft Source’s goal of bringing excellent games from Asia to a global audience, and they’re excited to reveal more details soon.
