The popular show Race Across the World is coming back to BBC One this spring! A new set of adventurous teams will be journeying across Europe and Asia.
Season six promises to be the most challenging yet, with five teams embarking on a grueling 12,000+ kilometer trek from Italy all the way to Mongolia.
The team’s journey will take them through Italy, Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, ultimately ending at Lake Khövsgöl in northern Mongolia.
Race Across the World is back! Tune in to BBC One and iPlayer on Thursday, April 2nd at 8pm to watch!

This year’s competition features a variety of close relationships: best friends Jo and Kush, siblings Katie and Harrison, father and daughter Molly and Andrew, cousins Puja and Roshni, and in-laws Mark and Margo.
Once again, the teams will compete in a unique race where they’ll lose access to their phones and credit cards, relying only on cash equal to the cost of the journey’s flights.
Teams will be pushed to their physical and emotional limits, but only one will win the £20,000 prize by being the first to cross the finish line.
Fans of Race Across the World have more to enjoy! In addition to the TV series, there’s a new video podcast coming, hosted by both Scott Mills – who won Celebrity Race Across the World – and Alfie Watts, the winner of season 4, who will share his best travel advice.
Each week on the Race Across the World: The Detour podcast, we’ll be joined by interesting guests – from travel experts to comedians and fans of the show. They’ll share their thoughts on the destinations featured, tell their own adventure stories, and celebrate the incredible real-life journeys of the series’ contestants.
You can watch and listen to ‘Race Across the World: The Detour’ on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds right after each new episode airs on TV.
