Sonic 4 First Look Officially Confirms Jim Carrey’s Return as Robotnik

The Sonic the Hedgehog movies are among the most successful video game adaptations in recent years, with three popular films and a hit TV show. A major reason for their success is Jim Carrey’s performance as the villainous Dr. Robotnik. He brings his signature energetic comedy to the role, making him a perfect fit for the over-the-top character. Though the last movie’s ending left some wondering if he’d return, it’s now confirmed that Jim Carrey will be back for at least one more Sonic film.

Variety has released the complete list of actors who will be in Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Alongside Jim Carrey, the movie will feature Ben Schwartz, Kristen Bell, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Ben Kingsley, Matt Berry, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, Nick Offerman, and Richard Ayoade.
