Influencer Stefanie Pieper May Have Been Buried Alive Before Death

A new detail has come to light regarding Stefanie Pieper’s horrific death. 

Following the discovery of the Austrian influencer’s body in a suitcase buried in the woods last November, Dr. Christian Kroschl, the prosecutor handling the case, revealed that the autopsy raised further questions about how she died.

According to a statement given to the Austrian publication Bild, the autopsy wasn’t able to pinpoint the time of the young woman’s death. Investigators believe she might have been alive when she was put in the suitcase, but it’s also possible she was strangled before being placed inside.

Stefanie, 32, was reported missing on November 23rd when she didn’t arrive for a planned photoshoot, police in Styria said. Authorities later confirmed that her ex-boyfriend, whose name hasn’t been released, was a suspect and had been arrested.

Authorities announced that Stefanie’s boyfriend, after being brought to Austria from Slovenia, admitted to the crime and told police where to find her. Sadly, she was later discovered buried in a suitcase in a forest.

In December, Patricia Weber, a spokesperson for the Graz Public Prosecutor’s Office, stated to People magazine that an autopsy showed Stefanie had experienced some form of physical assault before she died.

Weber also told the news source that Stefanie’s former boyfriend is now in police custody. TopMob News has contacted the Graz Public Prosecutor’s Office for more information, but has not received a response yet.

Stefanie was a makeup artist with a popular online presence, having gained over 40,000 followers who enjoyed her lifestyle posts, before she passed away.

Her final post, made on November 9th, showed her getting a pedicure. Since then, fans have been leaving messages of sympathy on her social media.

A fan expressed deep sorrow in a comment on Stefanie’s post, stating that society has failed so badly that women sometimes suffer terribly, even losing their lives, because of relationship breakdowns. They pledged to speak out more strongly, saying it’s what Stefanie and other victims deserve.
