(**WARNING: Contains spoilers for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man**)
Over its six seasons, Peaky Blinders attracted many well-known actors to appear with Cillian Murphy and the main cast, including Sam Neill, Adrien Brody, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Sam Claflin, who all played significant roles.
However, many viewers consider Tom Hardy’s Alfie Solomons to be the most memorable character. Alfie, the head of a London Jewish gang, first appeared in season two as both an enemy and friend to Tommy Shelby, and went on to appear in several later episodes.
Throughout the show, Alfie repeatedly came close to death – facing both a gunshot wound and a cancer diagnosis. Yet, he miraculously made it to the season finale alive and well, though some viewers speculated that he might have been a creation of Tommy’s mind in the later episodes.
You might be curious if Alfie makes an appearance in the new movie The Immortal Man, now available on Netflix after a limited run in theaters. Here’s everything you need to know.

Does Tom Hardy’s Alfie Solomons appear in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man?
Unfortunately, Alfie won’t be appearing in the movie, which may be a bit of a letdown for fans of the show.
Besides Tommy, not many characters return from the original TV series. Only Tommy’s sister, Ada (Sophie Rundle), along with Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, and Tommy’s trusted associates Charlie Strong (Ned Dennehy), Johnny Dogs (Packy Lee), and Curly (Ian Peck) make appearances in this sequel.
Even though Hardy had previously said he expected to reprise the role, this is still surprising.
He told Sky News in 2024 that while he expects Alfie to appear, he isn’t sure when, and admitted he was just speculating about it.
Unfortunately, that plan didn’t work out, so fans of Alfie will need to rewatch the show if they want to see him again.
The new Peaky Blinders film, The Immortal Man, is now playing in some UK cinemas. You’ll also be able to watch it on Netflix starting March 20th, with subscriptions available from £5.99 per month. Netflix is accessible through Sky Glass and Virgin Media, and the original Peaky Blinders series is available on BBC iPlayer.
