A lot can happen in 24 hours – and Emmerdale is no exception to that!
The episode began with Rhona Goskirk calling someone to ask if they’d been able to find Dylan Penders, who is currently missing.
He quickly left the village, feeling guilty for the trouble Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) had caused everyone. He gathered his things, mailed a brown envelope, and then walked off into the night.
He called his girlfriend, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), to say goodbye, explaining he’d confessed to Ray’s murder in writing. He hoped this would lead to the real killer, Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), being released from prison.
April pleaded with him to remain, but he was firm in his decision to leave, feeling he’d already caused enough trouble.

Marlon, Paddy, and Mandy Dingle searched all night around Leeds, but couldn’t find who they were looking for. April believed it was time to stop, suggesting the person didn’t want to be found.
He was in a hurry to get to the police station later that day. He and Paddy had admitted to obstructing justice and assisting Bear in hiding Ray’s body.
Rhona desperately sought help from her ex, Graham Foster, asking him to find Dylan. She believed his connections and strong feelings for her would motivate him to do whatever it took to resolve the situation.

He realised that, given her commitment to Marlon, she must be desperate.
That same day, Graham kept his word and located Dylan. He casually entered Smithy Cottage, but worried someone might arrest him because of the confession letter he’d sent.
Graham promised to stop the document from being delivered. Meanwhile, Rhona asked Aaron Dingle not to mention to Marlon that he was the one who discovered Dylan – she just didn’t want Marlon to know they’d been communicating.
Paddy and Mandy were thrilled to see him, and Aaron explained to Rhona that he’d found him at the scrapyard.

The family was all together at The Woolpack, enjoying a drink, while Rhona met with Graham outside. He returned a letter to her, explaining he’d spoken to someone at the post office and paid them £50 to get it back to him so he could give it to her.
He said it was probably the most illegal thing he’d done, but the pleasure was “all [his].”
Inside, Graham and Rhona shared a look, a silent understanding passing between them as Rhona kissed Marlon.
Is she about to be unfaithful?
