Viewers of the Victorian detective series Miss Scarlet have been eagerly anticipating season 6, especially in the UK, as it first became available in the US earlier this year.

When will Miss Scarlet season 6 be released?
Miss Scarlet season 6 will start airing on Tuesday 24 March 2026 at 9pm on U&Alibi.
The season premiered on Masterpiece in the US in January 2026, so viewers in America have had access to it for a couple of months longer than those elsewhere.
Fans can rest easy knowing Miss Scarlet won’t end with this season! It’s been renewed for a seventh season, which will be the show’s last.
Who will be returning to star in Miss Scarlet season 6?
Kate Phillips will return as Miss Scarlet in the new season. Tom Durant-Pritchard will also reprise his role as DI Alexander Blake, a character he first played starting in season 5 after Stuart Martin departed as The Duke.
Cathy Belton, Paul Bazely, Simon Ludders, and Tim Chipping will all return for season six. Ansu Kabia will also make a guest appearance as Moses Valentine, a character he last played in season three.
Season 6 will introduce two new characters: George Willows, portrayed by Sam Buchanan—known for his role in Sherwood—and Isabel Summers, played by Grace Hogg-Robinson from The Other Bennet Sister.
