The Winter 2026 anime season is finishing up, so most shows are nearing their endings. Several of the season’s most popular titles, like Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell’s Paradise, and Frieren, are wrapping up, with one particularly intriguing series set to conclude things with a special finale. While these big hits have dominated the season, a few other shows have also stood out, including the captivating and realistic Oshi no Ko Season 3.
This season of the idol drama has been notably intense, thanks to a captivating story. After the fallout from the ‘Scandal Arc,’ the plot is rapidly approaching its climax, especially now that it’s been revealed Ai is the mother of Aqua and Ruby, which has dramatically changed everything. As the investigation into who killed Ai nears its end, a plan for revenge is being put into action through a new movie project. This project kicks off in the next episode and is especially noteworthy because it will be longer than usual.
Oshi no Ko Season 3 to Deliver a Special Extended Finale

The current season of Oshi no Ko will finish with its next episode on March 25, 2026. This finale is particularly special because it starts the story arc based on the “15-Year Lie” movie, and it will be a full hour long. Some viewers worried the season was ending right as a big story began, but the longer episode length means it will cover a substantial part of this arc. This should provide a satisfying conclusion to the season and create excitement for future installments.
The current season of Oshi no Ko is expected to adapt about a third of the manga, which means the next season could be the last. An announcement about a potential final season might even come after the finale airs, building anticipation. But the most exciting part is how the final arc will begin. This arc will not only show Aqua and Ruby at their strongest, but will also give Akane and Kana important roles and reveal their motivations, leading to the most intense and dramatic moments of the series yet. With a feature-length episode kicking off this crucial storyline and the possibility of a fourth and final season looming, the conclusion of Oshi no Ko Season 3 promises to be unmissable and full of surprises.
