Vanessa Hudgens has her head in the game when it comes to motherhood.
The former High School Musical star shared a personal glimpse into life at home with her husband, Cole Tucker, and their two young children: a 20-month-old son and a newborn daughter. They haven’t yet shared the names of either child with the public.
Vanessa shared a natural, makeup-free photo of herself relaxing on the living room floor on Instagram on March 19th, jokingly captioning it, “Mom life!”
Vanessa welcomed her first child in the summer of 2024 and her second last fall. She’s been very busy with parenting ever since.
When asked about work-life balance, she jokingly told TopMob News in August, “I have no idea what that is! Life is hectic, and time is really valuable. I tend to go all-in on whatever I’m doing – I’m either completely focused on one thing or another. I guess you could call that my version of balance, even if it means embracing extremes.”
She continued, “Being a mom is literally the most exhausting thing on the entire planet.”
Even with everything going on, the actress from Tick, Tick… Boom! is truly appreciating her experiences. She says becoming a mother has helped her learn to relax and savor life’s simple pleasures.
Vanessa explained that it’s common to get caught up thinking about future happiness – telling ourselves we’ll be glad when something happens, or that life will get better when certain conditions are met. However, she emphasized that true happiness lies in appreciating the present moment instead.
