Will there be The Madison season 2?

*Warning – contains spoilers for The Madison season 1.*

Season one of The Madison has finished airing on Paramount+, concluding with Stacy secretly returning to the Madison River Valley without informing her family.

Stacy previously insisted everyone in the family join her, believing this new place offered a better life and a stronger connection to her late husband, Preston.

It’s possible we’ll see more of the Clyburn family’s story in future episodes, but whether that will actually happen is still unknown. Has the show been renewed for another season?

Read on for everything you need to know about The Madison season 2.

Will there be The Madison season 2?

News emerged in August 2025 that “The Madison” would be renewed for a second season, even before the first season had premiered.

That season subsequently went into production in September and finished filming in December 2025.

Elle Chapman, who plays Paige, announced on Instagram that filming for season two has finished, saying she’s feeling very happy and fulfilled.

When will The Madison season 2 be released?

A release date for The Madison season 2 hasn’t been announced yet, but since filming is already finished, it likely won’t be long before it arrives.

Although it’s likely the next season will be released annually, around March 2027, it’s possible we might see it sooner, potentially by the end of 2026.

We’ll share any news about the release of The Madison season 2 as soon as we have it, so check back here for updates.

Who will return to star in The Madison season 2?

Since seasons one and two of The Madison were filmed so close together, most of the main actors are likely to be back for another season.

The cast will feature Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, alongside Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, and Alaina Pollack, who will play members of her family.

Kurt Russell is also likely to return, even though his character, Preston, died early in season one. He appeared in flashbacks throughout the first season, and we can expect that to happen again.

Russell filmed all of his scenes for both seasons while they were shooting season 2. This was because the original filming schedule for season 1 conflicted with his work on the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

We anticipate the return of familiar faces like Ben Schnetzer and Kevin Zegers. However, Matthew Fox, who played Paul Clyburn, is not expected to reprise his role.

He shared with TV Insider that his role on the show feels self-contained, which he appreciates. He described the overall experience as incredible.

Similar to Preston, Paul passed away early in the story of The Madison, and it seems we won’t see any more scenes showing his past.
