Peni Parker is joining the roster of playable characters in the upcoming four-versus-four fighting game, MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls. Sony and Arc System Works, the game’s publisher and developer, revealed she’ll be part of “The Amazing Guardians” team alongside Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Star-Lord. A new arena called “Knowhere” was also announced.
Here are the latest details:
A New Team Takes the Stage: The Amazing Guardians

The Amazing Guardians are a team made up of heroes from a new generation.
Spider-Man (voiced by Josh Keaton) leads this team, always ready to use his incredible abilities to help others. He’s joined by the energetic Ms. Marvel (voiced by Dalia Rooni), the adventurous Star-Lord (voiced by Scott Porter) who’s in it for profit, and the tech-savvy Peni Parker (voiced by Risa Mei), who can build anything.
This episode reveals how four heroes met and will show you how they plan to overcome a massive challenge. Will they be able to cooperate despite their conflicting personalities? Tune in to find out!
New Playable Character: Peni Parker

Peni Parker is one of the new characters being introduced. She’s a bright and somewhat quirky Japanese-American student who’s a talented young scientist.
Peni Parker is a hero from another universe who fights crime piloting SP//dr, a high-tech mech suit built by her dad. In the game MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, she brings SP//dr to the fight, using lots of gadgets and quick thinking to come up with new tactics during battle.
Peni was raised in the US, but sometimes unexpectedly starts speaking Japanese. Pay attention to how this is handled in the different language versions of the show.
Our Master of Ceremonies Appears: The Promoter

The trailer reveals a new character, the Promoter, voiced by Sabrina Fest. This character is actually Xirena Awhina, an incredibly old alien being—one of the Elders of the Universe, a race that has existed throughout the cosmos for as long as time itself.
True to her title, Xirena travels the galaxy organizing entertainment on a supernova scale.
The Promoter has challenged our heroes with a crucial tournament – the outcome will decide the future of Earth.
What will happen when our heroes and villains face this challenge? And is the Promoter working by themselves, or are others involved? Find out soon – more details are coming!
New Feature: Automatic Team Name Generation

We know players love building their own four-character dream teams—and giving them a name to match.
We’ve just released an update with a playful new addition: automatic team name suggestions! And don’t worry, it’s free to use.
The game generates a team name inspired by Marvel history based on the characters you choose. You’ll see the name displayed on screen and even hear it announced like a real wrestling match! Experiment with different character combinations to find awesome, unexpected, and entertaining team names.
Improvements Based on the Closed Beta Tests Feedback
I’m really excited about how the developers have taken all the feedback from the beta tests last year and used it to make the game even better. They’ve clearly been listening to us, and it sounds like they’ve made a lot of improvements!
Watch this video for an overview of the latest gameplay changes.
Detailed patch notes are available on the Discord server.
Hey everyone, just wanted to say thanks so much for playing the demo and giving us your feedback! The team and I are still working hard, polishing everything up until the game finally launches. We really appreciate you helping us make it the best it can be!
