The fallout from Megan Walsh’s arrest continues on Coronation Street this week.
After months of torment, Megan (Beth Nixon) has finally been arrested on Coronation Street. Young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) was instrumental in bringing her down, and he was supported by his step-mother, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), and her sisters, Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) and Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley).
Despite Megan’s harmful actions, Will Driscoll (played by Lucas Hodgson-Wale) still loves her and doesn’t realize she’s manipulating him, even though his family is trying to warn him.
On the March 23, 2026 episode of the show, Will’s father, Ben Driscoll (played by Aaron McCusker), gathers the family to talk about Megan’s pregnancy. He’s also concerned that Megan won’t take a DNA test, which could confirm she’s been abusing Will.
The meeting quickly descends into chaos when Will keeps defending Megan, even when his grandmother, Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McGlynn), gets visibly angry.

Throughout the week, Ben encourages Will to talk to a counselor, hoping Will will share what happened with Megan.
The case against Megan weakens further when Ben and Eva discover the police found no evidence of abuse on Megan or Will’s phones, which is deeply concerning.
Will’s week gets increasingly difficult. He’s determined to go back to school, but rumors about him and Megan are making him the subject of ridicule.
Ben is upset and feels he’s failed Will, but his friends Steve McDonald and Tim Metcalfe are there to offer him much-needed support.
We already know Steve is Ben’s half-brother, but this connection hasn’t been revealed to anyone else yet.

Sam is still facing difficulties and is wary when his teacher, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), offers an apology and help, especially since Daniel recently ended his relationship with Megan.
Sam’s friend, Hope Stape, makes Sam even more suspicious by hinting that Daniel might still be helping Megan. This leads Sam to throw away his phone, convinced Daniel has been secretly listening to his conversations.
Will Sam ever get back to normal? And will Megan ever face justice?
Based on the recent flash-forward episode, it looks like Megan will be in danger soon.
Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
