Mikayla Matthews is coming to her ex’s defense.
After Jackie and Claudia Oshry, hosts of The Toast podcast, named Mikayla’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Jace Terry, as their “weenie of the week,” Mikayla responded by criticizing them in the comments section.
On a recent podcast episode, Claudia shared that Jackie strongly dislikes Jace. She explained that Jackie sends her voice messages while watching the show, filled with harsh comments like calling Jace names and questioning why he isn’t with his wife after she gave birth. Claudia emphasized just how much Jackie dislikes him.
Honestly, after Claudia made that awful comment about him not getting enough negativity, Jackie really spoke my mind. She just wants him to be quiet for once, and honestly, let his wife have some peace. It was exactly what I was thinking!
Coming to her ex’s defense, Mikayla commented, “I hate this.”
Just days before, Mikayla revealed she and Jace were splitting up after having problems with their relationship. They share four children: Beckham, 8, Haven, 6, Tommie, 4, and 8-month-old Lottie June.
Mikayla revealed in a private interview that she and Jace spent the night discussing whether to separate. She explained that the stress of online parenting criticism (‘MomTok drama’) and her desire to fix their marriage had become overwhelming, leading them to mutually decide on a separation.

Okay, so she said it herself – she doesn’t think this ‘conscious uncoupling’ thing is forever. I mean, thank goodness! It’s not a full stop, you guys, it’s more like…an ellipsis. She left the door open! I’m holding onto that, I really am. It gives me hope, you know? It’s not over until she says it’s over, and she hasn’t said that yet! I’m analyzing every word, and this is HUGE.
After eight years of marriage, Mikayla explained to her husband that despite a lot of therapy, she was still struggling. She was going to stay with her colleague, Mayci Neeley, but emphasized she didn’t see it as a permanent separation.
She said they’ll definitely continue seeing each other daily, as she doesn’t want to spend any time apart from her children anyway.

Recently, Mikayla shared an update on where she and Jace, 30, stand today.
In a recent interview with People magazine published on March 12th, Mikayla discussed processing the trauma from a sexual assault she experienced as a teenager. She explained that last season marked the first time she truly confronted these difficult experiences. “I was revisiting all of this trauma for the first time,” she said.
She said the separation is recent for both of them, and they’re trying to handle it as best they can. She doesn’t have much more to say about it right now, but expects it will take a long time to fully process.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen began dating while filming the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and had a son, Ever, together in 2024. However, they broke up because Dakota was unfaithful.
Taylor shared on the second episode of her Hulu series that shortly after her daughter Ever was born, she and her boyfriend, Dakota, were very happy and she was even thinking about getting engaged. However, she then discovered he had been dishonest with her the whole time.
Taylor was accused by a woman named Jenna of having a relationship with Dakota, claiming they had been intimate on multiple occasions. Taylor has publicly denied these accusations, stating in a TikTok post in September 2024 that he has never been unfaithful.
On the series, Taylor said that Dakota accused Jenna of instigating their affair.
She told the interviewer, “It was him, I swear.” He claimed he’d only kissed her on the couch, but that wasn’t true. They actually became intimate on the couch, and then continued in another room.”

After her breakup with the founder of Basin Tiling, Taylor is enjoying life and open to finding new love. The mother of three – Indy and Ocean, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Tate Paul – is set to star on season 22 of The Bachelorette.
Nonetheless, she and Dakota are committed to developing a successful co-parenting relationship.
Taylor shared with TopMob News in May 2025 that she and her partner are both working on themselves to improve their individual well-being, as they weren’t able to progress as a couple. She explained they’re currently prioritizing their child and she’s personally focusing on her own healing, with no clear plans for the future.
However, things became complicated in early March when reports surfaced about a possible argument between the former couple.
A representative from the Draper City Police Department told People magazine they are investigating a possible domestic assault. Both parties involved have accused each other, according to the police.

Whitney Leavitt married Connor Leavitt in 2016, and he’s become her ideal life partner. They share three children—Sedona, Liam, and Billy—and have worked through challenges as they live their lives in the public eye.
For instance, the Dancing With the Stars alum had to shut down rumors about her husband’s sexuality.
In an October 2024 appearance on the Off the Vine podcast, she jokingly asked if she needed to resort to extreme measures to prove things were okay, saying, “Trust me, we’re good. Everything’s fine.”
She explained that he had battled a pornography addiction, something I wasn’t aware of personally. She mentioned a scene where a friend observed that his struggles with sexuality were apparent.
You know, looking back on everything, my husband Connor and I have definitely been through a lot! But honestly, it’s only made us stronger. We were so young when we first said ‘I do’ – just 23 and 22 – but our love has really stood the test of time. In fact, we celebrated that by renewing our vows in February 2026, marking our 10th anniversary. It was a beautiful reminder of how far we’ve come.
Conner shared with Brides that he and his partner got married at a young age. He explained that while their wedding day was special for them as a couple, it also felt very much about celebrating with their families. They wanted to create a unique experience that truly felt like their own, and they thought this was a really enjoyable way to do it.

Jen Affleck and Zac Affleck, who aren’t related to Ben Affleck despite what people say, have been married since 2019, but rumors about them splitting up have circulated since the beginning of their time in the public eye.
A major argument stemming from Jen going to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas was a central part of the first season. Despite the fight, the couple – parents to Nora, Penelope, and Lucas – reconciled, and the Dancing With the Stars contestant later spoke out to support their relationship.
You know, as someone who follows these things closely, it’s completely understandable why this gets old. I was hearing the same speculations back in November 2025, and honestly, people are always going to talk and have an opinion – that’s just life! But what really bothers me is when people judge without knowing the full story. It’s frustrating when they don’t see the hard work and effort someone is putting in behind the scenes. It’s easy to criticize when you don’t have all the facts.
She and Zac are prioritizing what’s most important and trying to ignore outside distractions, though she admits it’s still a challenge for him.

Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura have faced challenges in their marriage. After Jessi had an emotional affair with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa, they went through a difficult time. However, things have improved for the couple and their children, Jagger and Jovi.
I was so thrilled to hear Jessi tell TopMob News back in November 2025 that she and her partner were giving things another shot! She was really honest about it, saying they’re working through things, and that no relationship is perfect. Honestly, it makes so much sense – especially with everything they’ve been through. She said it’s going to take time and won’t be an instant fix, and I completely understand that. It’s just good to see them trying!
I’m a big fan, and it’s been really interesting to see them open up about going to therapy. She shared that, like any couple, they have their struggles, but they’re choosing to share their journey honestly. She hopes that by being real, they can connect with people and maybe even help others who are going through similar things, especially as she’s also raising her daughter, Peyton, from a previous relationship.

Mayci never thought she’d find love again, especially after her boyfriend, Arik Mack, unexpectedly passed away in 2015. She was 14 weeks pregnant with their son, Hudson, at the time and had already accepted the idea of raising him on her own. She certainly didn’t anticipate finding love with Jacob Neeley.
But it all changed when she met Jacob in 2016 at age 21, whom she would marry two years later.
In her memoir, Told You So, Mayci explained that she was hesitant to trust anyone after past experiences, but Jacob quickly put her at ease and they connected. They stayed friends for quite a while, which made her comfortable with him meeting her son, since they weren’t seriously involved romantically at the time.
She explained that Jacob was wonderful with him, and that made him even more appealing. Though she was afraid of being hurt again, she couldn’t ignore her feelings after four months. He was a kind, funny person who made her feel secure.
Mayci and Jacob went on to welcome daughters Harlow in 2021 and Charli in 2025.

Demi Engemann married Bret Engemann in 2021, following her divorce from Blake Corbin the year before. Their relationship on the reality show gained attention when Whitney gave Demi Fruity Pebbles, which led to discussions about their intimate life becoming a central part of the show’s storyline.
Jessi revealed in a November 2025 Instagram post the surprising reason behind the joke gift: her grandfather, Bret, drinks her urine, comparing the taste to dirty soda and drinking it quickly like water.
Demi and Bret aren’t upset about the past—whether it involves revealed secrets or embarrassing moments. In fact, Demi told Entertainment Tonight in December that they’ve decided to embrace everything that’s happened and just enjoy life together.
Despite some attention on their intimate life, the couple is happily adjusting to life as a blended family. Demi has a daughter named Maude from a previous relationship, and Bret has two sons, Rome and Cole, with Angie Harrington, who is known from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
In June 2024, Demi shared on Instagram how incredibly loving and dedicated her partner is as a father and stepfather to Maude, and how excited she is for them to become parents together. She expressed constant amazement at his unwavering commitment to his children, even when facing life’s challenges.

Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry have a long history together. They first met in 2015, when Mikayla was 15, and had their son Beckham two years later. They married in 2018 and have since welcomed three more children: Haven, Tommie, and Lottie.
Mikayla and Jace are enjoying raising their four children, but Mikayla has expressed a desire to have more kids in the future.
In a February 2025 interview with People magazine, she said that when people ask about having children, she usually responds that she’s always pictured three or four, but she wouldn’t rule out having six. She’s also looking forward to moving into a larger house with plenty of outdoor space for her future family.
In the ninth episode of the show’s fourth season, Mikayla revealed that she and Jace were separating temporarily because they were having difficulties with their physical relationship.
Watching Mikayla start to deal with the pain from her past – years of abuse as a teenager – was incredibly difficult. It also brought her chronic illness to the forefront; stress always made her symptoms worse, and unpacking these memories was very stressful. It honestly put a huge strain on our marriage, as we both navigated everything together.
Talking about sex or intimacy is really difficult for me,” she told Jace. “It feels like too much, because I’m already incredibly stressed and overwhelmed. I just don’t have the capacity to deal with it right now.”

Layla Taylor and Clayton Wessel, parents of Oliver and Maxwell, got divorced in 2023. Layla then hinted at a new relationship with Mason McWhorter in July 2025.
Their relationship looked confusing when you laid it all out. Here’s the deal: Mason’s brother, Chase McWhorter, was previously married to Miranda McWhorter, who works with Layla. Despite this complicated connection, Mason and Layla were determined to make their relationship work.
Layla shared with Us in November 2025 that she’s not currently thinking about marriage, but she’s open to getting to know someone really well first. She expressed contentment with her relationship with Mason, adding that they would consider marriage if it ever became a topic for them.
Unfortunately, the mom of two confirmed that she and Mason had split in February 2026.
Honestly, it really hurt, but Layla explained that it felt like we were just heading in different directions. She said he needed space to figure things out on his own, and I guess I understand that. I really do respect his choice, and more than anything, I just want him to be happy and get everything he’s hoping for.

Miranda joined the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in season two and quickly became central to the widely discussed “soft swinging scandal” involving MomTok personalities. However, despite the controversy with Taylor, Miranda recently shared that this wasn’t the cause of her 2024 divorce from Chase.
She explained on the Weekly Trash podcast in August 2024 that the reasons for their breakup had been building for a long time. While recent events may not have helped, she insisted they weren’t a factor in the decision to split.
Nonetheless, she and Chase have been committed to parenting their kids Brooks and Cohen.
She noted that coparenting requires ongoing effort. She added that if they’d always had a perfect relationship, they likely wouldn’t have gotten divorced.
We’ve always been good friends, even before we became a couple,” she explained. “I think that strong friendship is a big reason we’re able to co-parent so well.
