7 Coronation Street spoilers next week: Todd Grimshaw’s loved ones discover the truth about Theo Silverton

Next week on Coronation Street, Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) finds himself in a difficult situation. George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) voices his concern that Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is experiencing abuse.

Todd dismisses the plan, but Gary Windass (Mikey North) hears Theo say something troubling and decides to intervene.

I’m really invested in the Driscolls’ storyline, especially seeing them try to connect with their son, Will, played by Lucas Hodgson-Wale. And it looks like Sally Metcalfe, Sally Dynevor, is hoping a story about her husband Tim – Joe Duttine – from his past might just be the key to helping them all out. It’s a clever move, and I’m eager to see if it works!

I’m really enjoying the latest storylines! It’s great to see Debbie Webster getting some good news, and I’m on the edge of my seat watching Jodie Ramsey get closer to figuring things out about Bethany Platt. It’s shaping up to be a dramatic few episodes!

Here’s everything happening in Coronation Street between Sunday 29 March and Friday 3 April.

7 Coronation Street spoilers for next week

1. Todd Grimshaw’s family realise the extent of Theo Silverton’s actions

Christina and Summer share with Glenda and Sarah a troubling idea George has: that Theo might be hurting Todd. They begin to realize Todd could have been secretly dealing with abuse for some time.

When Todd clocks the conversation, he fiercely defends Theo – though George is disbelieving.

Sarah shared her concerns with Gary, but at first, he wasn’t convinced. As she presented more and more proof, he started to believe her and agreed to go with Todd to check out the flat.

When Theo hears the door slam, he immediately starts yelling, not realizing Gary is listening. The following day, Gary fires Theo on the spot. Theo protests, which makes Gary furious, and Gary threatens him.

George later visited Todd and gave him a bag filled with essential supplies, meant to help him if he ever decided to leave. However, Theo quickly found the bag, forcing Todd to come up with a quick excuse.

He explains that he’s packed the possessions ahead of their relocation to Belfast…

As Theo becomes increasingly suspicious, he goes to the Bistro to challenge George. Meanwhile, Sarah and Summer are shocked to discover Todd intends to leave with him. Later, Todd finds George, but when asked about Belfast, he avoids answering the important question.

Will Todd leave Weatherfield with Theo?

2. Mal Roper continues to stalk Bernie Winter-Alahan

Mal shocks Bernie and the Winter-Alahans by predicting that Dev will eventually break up with her, and that he’ll be there to catch her when it happens.

Dev was completely shocked by what was said and later told Kit that he knows the truth about who attacked Mal.

Dev, eager to start fresh, asks Bernie to dinner, hoping to forget about Mal. Little does he know, Mal is secretly watching them from a distance.

Will he ever move on, or is their situation about to get a lot worse?

3. Ben Driscoll lashes out at mum Maggie amid tensions in the family

Next week on Driscoll, the conflict between Ollie and Will intensifies as Ollie pushes Will to prioritize his own well-being and stop shielding Megan. Meanwhile, Ben and Eva are desperately hoping Will will avoid his abuser, but they don’t know he’s already secretly seeing her and using a temporary phone to stay in touch.

Maggie decided to deal with the situation herself and went to talk to Megan. Shortly after, Lisa showed up to say she’d reported the landlady for assault. Maggie insisted she hadn’t done anything wrong, then went to find Megan, determined to find out what really happened.

I was really struck by the scene where Daniel finally told his dad what happened with Megan. It turns out she was only ever interested in Will and used Daniel to get close to him. It’s heartbreaking, and I could really feel how upset and resentful it’s making him, which worried his dad a lot.

Maggie confronts Will, believing he has feelings for Megan and might be the baby’s father. The situation quickly escalates, leading to a heated exchange between Ben and Maggie, and Maggie responds in a way that worries those around her.

4. Will Driscoll’s story forces Tim Metcalfe to face his demons

Sally shares with Ben that she sees similarities between the abuse Will suffered and Tim’s experiences as a teen. She explains that Tim was also groomed, but when he downplays it, Ben directly confronts him, pointing out that he seems to be denying what happened.

Honestly, seeing Tim so rattled really got to me. He eventually confessed to Sally that he was starting to wonder if things were right with Trisha, and he decided he needed to talk to her and get some clarity.

After talking with the Metcalfes, Ben confronted Will, pleading with him to stop protecting Megan, fearing she would ruin everything.

Tim later shares that Trisha hasn’t replied to him. Sally believes Trisha is intentionally avoiding contact because she feels guilty.

5. Jodie Ramsey earns Bethany Platt’s trust

Bethany was thrilled to show Jodie a picture of someone she connected with online, and they’d even made plans to go out. Unfortunately, her date ended up not showing up, which really upset her.

Jodie seems sympathetic, but it’s hard to know what she’s really thinking. Is she aware that Bethany doesn’t trust her?

Bethany later subtly asks David about Jodie’s history and if he checked her background thoroughly. She then suggests they get a drink together, wanting to keep Jodie within her sight.

While they were out, Jodie stood up for Bethany when Daniel said something critical, and it looks like Bethany now trusts her.

6. Debbie Webster receives a positive update on her appeal

Debbie’s health is rapidly declining in prison, and she becomes confused. She mistakenly accuses a guard of taking her diary, but Lou understands what’s happening and quickly distracts everyone to help her.

Kevin and Jack brought encouraging updates about Debbie’s appeal, but it’s becoming increasingly clear how much she’s struggling.

Just before her hearing, Lou gave Debbie a sweet, handmade good luck charm, hoping to offer a little bit of comfort.

Will the gift have the desired effect?

7. George Shuttleworth heads to court

George was shocked to see Adam and Alya leaving the pub with Damien Ripley, and he immediately feared it meant the evidence against him was growing, even though he’d been trying to convince everyone of his innocence.

As the case reaches court, a terrified George awaits his fate, supported by Christina and Glenda.

Will he be found guilty of swindling one of his clients?
