At the EVO 2025 event, taking place from August 1st to 3rd at the Las Vegas Convention Center, it has been revealed that “MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls” can be played. This announcement was made by both publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Arc System Works.
Participants can assemble a group of four characters (Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel, or Doctor Doom) from the available lineup for gameplay. Those who test the demo version will receive a commemorative pin as a reward.
On August 1 at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Arc System Works, and Marvel Games are organizing a “Developer Fight Panel”. This event will reveal fresh details about the fundamental gameplay aspects of their projects.
Kazuto Sekine, Arc System Works game director, conveyed gratitude from the entire development team for the fantastic reaction towards the State of Play trailer. He shared that the game is still being worked on, but they’re eager to reveal more during their Evo panel, and even more so, for fans to test the very first trial version at the event. Sekine hopes to unite with all players, aiming to create an exceptional game collectively. With new endeavors in mind, he looks forward to receiving your feedback and thoughts.
The game titled ‘MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls’ will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC platforms, including Steam and the Epic Games Store, in the year 2026.
