There’s a lot of excitement among Marvel enthusiasts about the upcoming Fantastic Four shoes by LA-based brand Advisory Board Crystals. Unlike traditional collaborations, these Marvel sneakers won’t be sold directly but will come in mystery boxes or grab bags, with the specific pair you receive (from a collection of seven unique designs) being a surprise. If you’re fortunate enough to secure them through a raffle, that is. As of now, no images of the Fantastic Four sneakers have been shared, but we do know their release date and price.
What is the price and release date for the Fantastic Four x Puma collab sneakers?
On July 27, 2025, the Fantastic Four x Puma shoes will retail for $199.99 per pair. These shoes will hit the market a few days following the nationwide premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Interestingly, they’ll be distributed via a raffle system using what Advisory Board Crystals calls mystery packaging, or blind blister packs.
Altogether, you’ll find seven distinct pairs of Puma sneakers inspired by the Fantastic Four, with one for each primary superhero, plus additional pairs for Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, and Galactus. The uniqueness of each pair varies based on the character; although we’re uncertain about which ones are the rarest, it’s reasonable to assume that the Galactus pair might be among the scarcest. These shoes arrive in one of seven character-themed boxes, which are further enclosed in one out of four exclusive sleeve designs and finally wrapped in silver packaging.
To put it simply, the chance of obtaining a pair when they are released depends largely on luck. Prior to the launch, interested customers can participate in a raffle for each entry, which costs $199.99. There’s no restriction on the number of tickets that can be purchased, increasing the odds for those who buy more. On July 26, the company will randomly choose winners from all entries and provide shipping details to the fortunate ones. If someone fails to secure a pair, their payment will be refunded.
The intention behind not showing images for the sneakers is because these blind box packages are double-blind, meaning both the design of the shoe and the character inside remain unknown to customers until they receive their package. However, images should become available once customers start receiving their shoes. As for whether individual sneakers will be sold separately later, it’s uncertain at this point. But, it’s likely that people will begin trading or selling them after their release.
You can also find additional Fantastic Four merchandise like a Galactus watch from Fossil, as well as numerous popcorn containers in various cinemas.
