The creators of “Stories Untold”, “Observation”, and the forthcoming “Silent Hill: Townfall”, known as No Code, have now changed their identity to Screen Burn Interactive, as they’ve officially declared.
Screen Burn Interactive’s founder and creative director, Jon McKellan, stated, ‘We are no longer the company we were in 2015.’ This change is evident in our growth and transformation. For instance, we now have programmers on board! To better represent the essence that has always been central to our games – the quirky feel of vintage technology and the enduring effect of a narrative that lingers long after the ending – we felt it was time for a new name.
Screen Burn Interactive strives to evoke this essence, likening “a spectral image etched onto an antique CRT display” to the indelible mental impression of a game you’ll never forget.
The work on “Silent Hill: Townfall” continues, handled by both Konami and Annapurna Interactive. More details about this project will be shared at a future time.
