Rumour: Halo’s PS5 Debut Launches in June, According to Fanta-Related Fan Theory

Just a heads-up: the original Halo game is getting remade and will be available on PlayStation 5 later this year, marking the first time the franchise won’t be exclusive to Xbox.

Halo: Combat Evolved is coming to PlayStation consoles, bringing the classic single-player shooter experience to a new audience as Microsoft expands beyond its own platforms. The big question is: when can players expect it?

According to a recent theory, the release could happen in June, maybe even as a surprise announcement during Xbox’s summer event.

Xbox and Fanta have teamed up for a new promotion! Look out for special cans and bottles of Fanta featuring Xbox games. Plus, you can unlock rewards in your games by redeeming codes found on these limited-edition drinks.

This offer features the Fantastic Spartan Armor skin for Master Chief in Halo: Combat Evolved. According to an Xbox Wire post, you’ll be able to get it starting when the game launches.

A Reddit user noticed that previous promotions with soda brands like Pepsi and Coca-Cola have typically lasted for two or three months. Since the current Fanta promotion seems to be following a similar timeline, many believe a new game release could happen around June.

This is just a guess from a fan, so it might not be accurate. But, combined with an older report from The Verge saying Halo: Campaign Evolved could come out this summer, it all starts to make sense.

It looks like the game is on track to release in June, either announced during the Xbox showcase or shortly after.
