The Pitt cast changes revealed as key character to exit after season 2 – plus one arrival gets a promotion

HBO Max’s acclaimed medical series, The Pitt, is making some changes to its cast before the start of Season 3. Two important actors will not be returning.

This American drama reunites stars from the hit show ER, including Noah Wyle, along with creator R. Scott Gemmill and producer John Wells. Each season, consisting of 15 episodes, focuses on the intense challenges faced by the doctors and staff during a single shift at a busy Pittsburgh hospital’s emergency room.

According to Variety, Supriya Ganesh, who plays Dr. Samira Mohan, will not be back for the show’s third season.

Ganesh will be leaving the show after its second season due to story reasons. This feels natural, as the show is set in a hospital where doctors and residents frequently rotate to different departments.

Ayesha Harris, who plays Dr. Parker Ellis, a senior resident on the night shift, will be a series regular starting in Season 3.

TopMob has reached out to HBO Max and Warner Bros Discovery for comment on this report.

Riley Keough, known for her roles in ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’ and ‘Glamorous,’ appeared in four episodes of the first season of ‘The Pitt’ and returned for its second season.

The American series, starring well-known actor Noah Wyle, quickly gained praise and won numerous awards, including five Emmys. It recently became popular with viewers in the UK as well.
