King Charles III is sharing a glimpse inside his bond with Princess Charlotte.
I always love seeing those sweet family moments, and Easter Sunday was no exception! As the royals were arriving for service at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter, who’s ten years old, shared a really cute and playful interaction with her grandfather. It was a lovely little scene!
Just before entering the church, King Charles, 77, playfully nudged Princess Charlotte on the shoulder as Queen Camilla walked up behind him. Charlotte responded with a warm smile.
William, who is also father to George, 12, and Louis, 7, with Kate, smiled as he watched the heartwarming moment.
This Easter marked Prince William and Kate’s first public appearance at the family’s annual service since 2023. They weren’t able to attend the 2024 service shortly after Kate announced her cancer diagnosis, and instead celebrated privately at their home in Norfolk this year.
Now that Prince William and Princess Kate are back to carrying out public engagements as a couple, their appearance at the Easter event was a welcome and successful return.
I just loved Kate’s outfit today! She looked so chic in a beautiful taupe suit and matching hat, and it coordinated perfectly with Charlotte’s sweet tan coat. And how adorable was it to see William and the boys all dressed up in those sharp blue suits? They looked like a perfectly coordinated team!
Princess Anne, with her husband Sir Timothy Laurence, and Prince Edward with his son James, Earl of Wessex, also joined the family.

Charlotte and Charles aren’t the only royals letting us see their loving side. William recently opened up about some of the challenges he and Kate face while raising their three children.
During a BBC Radio 1 panel discussion on mental health on February 18th, Prince William jokingly mentioned that his three children often share their feelings – perhaps a little too much! He said he appreciates hearing all the details, calling it “amazing.”
William explained that he struggles with the feeling that everything needs to be fixed, especially for others. He has to constantly remind himself that it’s okay not to fix things, and that simply listening and accepting people’s feelings and opinions is what’s truly important.
