France’s First Family is taking legal action.
In response to defamatory statements made by American podcaster Candace Owens, President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron have taken legal action in Delaware. The lawsuit, obtained by TopMob News, claims that Owens asserted the First Lady is actually a man. According to the complaint, Owens declared she would put her entire professional reputation on the line with this claim.
The legal action claims that Owens “utilized a misleading statement to bolster her self-governing system, increase popularity, and generate income,” and that she “ignored all trustworthy evidence contradicting her claim, preferring instead to amplify established conspiracy theorists and individuals who have been proven defamatory.
In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to share some insights from an intriguing perspective I encountered in 2025. This particular viewpoint stems from an eight-part podcast series titled “Becoming Brigitte,” created by Owens. In this captivating narrative, she alleges that the First Lady underwent a dramatic transformation, born as a man and subsequently assuming another person’s identity before transitioning to become Brigitte.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share some astonishing claims made about the influential figures in question. According to the lawsuit, they alleged that Brigitte and the President are blood relatives involved in incest, a shocking claim indeed. Furthermore, it was suggested that Emmanuel Macron was appointed as the President of France under the influence of the CIA’s MKUltra program or a similar mind-control operation. Lastly, they accused the pair of engaging in forgery, fraud, and abuses of power to conceal allegations of secret activities involving incest and potentially other illicit acts.
The lawsuit asserts that Owens’ statements are clearly untrue and accuses her, at age 36, of knowing these claims were false before she made them, all done with the aim of seeking fame.
The Macrons’ legal claim states that Owens was continuously offered solid, verifiable proof contradicting her assertions – such as documents, public records, and direct communications from the Macrons. Instead of rectifying the situation by admitting error, they say, she chose to reinforce her initial statements.
TopMob News has attempted to contact the Macron family, however, we are yet to receive a response. As for the lawsuit, Owen mentioned that she will discuss it in detail on her Candace podcast.
The lawsuit alleges that Owens’ false statements have resulted in substantial harm and exposed the Macrons to an international smear campaign, making them tabloid fodder for money-oriented deceptions.
Given the persistent and unwarranted defamation they’re experiencing,” the lawsuit states, “The Macrons find themselves compelled to approach the Court in order to correct the facts, protect themselves from further damage, and make the Defendants answer for their actions.
The lawsuit alleges that Owens is responsible for 22 instances of defamation and false light, with the latter referring to a type of privacy violation in which the accused is said to have spread untrue information about the victim, deemed offensive by most people, according to the Legal Information Institute.
The First Family is aiming to recover both actual and potential losses, including punitive or exemplary damages, full coverage of costs, expenses, legal fees, and interest as per the law, plus any other suitable remedies the court finds fair, the exact amount of which remains undetermined.
The lawsuit also demands a jury trial.
TopMob News has attempted to contact the Macron family, however, we are yet to receive a response. As mentioned, Owens plans to discuss the lawsuit on her ‘Candace’ podcast.
The legal claim alleges that Owens’ falsehoods have inflicted significant harm on the Macrons and exposed them to a worldwide embarrassment, making their personal lives a source for financially motivated untruths.
In light of this persistent and unwarranted defamation,” the lawsuit states, “the Macrons are compelled to bring this case before the court to correct the facts, protect themselves from further damage, and demand that the defendants take responsibility for their actions.
