Her background was unblemished, and so was her brother’s.

After their initial encounter, Loid quickly deduced that Yuri hails from the Secret Police. Yet, Loid remains oblivious to his wife’s history. Even Franky’s cursory investigation into her past was hurriedly done, leaving little room for a thorough exploration of her background. However, Loid is unaware that Yor is experiencing doubts about their matrimony.

As an ardent admirer, I find myself in a predicament where I’m willing to pull out all the stops to keep Yor by my side. However, I understand that a casual date won’t be enough to alleviate her concerns. In my quest for understanding, I’m prepared to delve deeper into her past, possibly necessitating another background check. Even another agent has wondered if I’m fretting about hidden secrets in Yor’s history, but I remain skeptical. Nonetheless, uncovering more about her only serves to deepen my admiration for her enigma.

Yor Admits Her Feelings For Loid Even Though Her Situation Is Complicated

Over the course of my extended stay with the Forgers, it’s only natural that Yor found herself drawn to her new family setup. Her affection for Anya has been constant, and gradually, she cultivated feelings for Loid as well. Regrettably, her circumstances didn’t permit her to openly express these emotions. She was aware that their union was a short-term arrangement, but now, she yearns for it to endure eternally.

Following her confession of love for Loid in front of Anya, Yor urges the child to keep this secret hidden. Although she is certain about her feelings for Loid, she doubts how long she can continue living with him. Yet, she also acknowledges that she’s not cut out for a typical life like others. The manga was first published in 2019, but their relationship has only recently gained depth and development, as opposed to the static state it had been in previously. Loid consistently portrayed himself as a family-oriented man, while Yor grew increasingly attached to the Forgers.

Despite outward appearances suggesting no change in their relationship, beneath the surface, things remained much the same between them following their time together. Whenever Loid sensed that Yor was finding it hard to maintain her disguise, he would do what he could to lift her spirits. This marks a new level of emotional depth in the series as it delves into one character’s feelings for the first time. Though Yor is clear about her emotions, Loid continues to worry about Operation Strix due to its critical importance and the lives at stake that hinge on his mission’s success.
