Fans can look forward to the continuation of Dr. Stone: Science Future this Spring 2026, as Part 3 arrives to conclude the popular sci-fi anime series. Based on the award-winning manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, which originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2017 to 2023, the anime will finally reveal the answers behind the petrification mystery. The new episodes premiered on Crunchyroll—a leading anime streaming service—on April 2nd, 2026, with subtitles and dubbing available. New episodes will stream every Thursday at 7:00 A.M. Pacific Time, soon after they air in Japan.
The anime is now available to viewers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and other regions. According to Comic Natalie, a special event called Stone Fes will be held on October 10, 2026, to celebrate the anime’s conclusion seven years after it first aired. The event will take place at the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium in Kanagawa and will feature live performances by the musicians who created the anime’s opening and ending songs, including the band BURNOUT SYNDROMES. What to Expect From Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 3
The last season of the anime centers on Senku and the Kingdom of Science as they sail to North America on the Perseus. They’re on a mission to collect everything they need to build a rocket and travel to the Moon to face the enigmatic “Why-Man.” Their first task is gathering essential supplies, including rare materials like platinum and special alloys, but most crucially, corn, which sends them on a worldwide journey.
Following a difficult start with Dr. Xeno and his people, Senku and his team have finally formed an alliance. The story has progressed significantly since Senku and Xeno first met, particularly considering how much trouble Stanley’s team caused. With the series nearing its end, the Kingdom of Science is preparing to face the Why-Man on the moon and rebuild civilization after its destruction over 3000 years ago.
This mysterious figure is believed to have turned everyone to stone over 3,000 years ago, but who he is and what he wants remains unknown. Dr. Xeno is currently helping the team, and his skills are incredibly valuable. They’re still looking for a skilled mathematician, and Ryusui has a suggestion. The final part of the series will consist of 12 episodes, covering the story’s conclusion.
